Formula 1 sprint races in 2022

More sprint races will be held throughout the 2022 Formula 1 season. It has been announced that races will be held at one-third of Grands Prix during the season. This means traditional qualifying will take place on Friday evening, which will set the grid for the sprint, which takes place on Saturday afternoon. The finishing order of these races will determine the order of the grid for the race on Sunday.

The races where sprint races will take place in 2022 are yet to be announced.
