Balaton Park is further outside Budapest then it’s Formula 1 hosting counterpart, the Hungaroring. The MotoGP circuit sits around 100km southwest of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are various options when it comes to reaching Balaton Park from the Hungarian capital. Driving takes around 1 hour 15 minutes – but that is not factoring in race day traffic. That time could feasibly double during the rush of a Grand Prix weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\ude8c Free Shuttle Bus (Budapest to Balaton Park)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The MotoGP Express<\/strong> \u2013 on Saturday and Sunday mornings \u2013 departs from Budapest-Kelenf\u00f6ld to Csaj\u00e1g, free of charge for all fans with a valid entry ticket. From Csaj\u00e1g, visitors will be transported to the circuit and back by complimentary electric shuttle buses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connections are also available from both the southern and northern shores of Lake Balaton, with multiple departure times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking the train from Budapest towards Lake Balaton is a comfortable and affordable option, with frequent services along the southern shore. You\u2019ll typically travel to a nearby station such as Balatonakarattya or Balatonf\u0151kaj\u00e1r, then complete the final stretch by taxi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
