It was a wonderful experience, the stand on the eau rouge curve has an excellent view and is easy to reach. The package also includes Vip parking and lunch. To be redone absolutely !! Congratulations to BookF1 for professionalism and communication. See you next year and thank you.

This was our first time attending an F1 event outside the UK and overall we had a very good time. There are however some tips to keep in mind that will ensure you have a good experience, as we did. We stayed in a very nice hotel at Slenaken on the Dutch border and drove to/from the circuit each day. We had VIP parking at the circuit entrance (yellow P1) and Gold seats at Eau Rouge with the included lunchbox. Some of the VIP car park is finished in asphalt, most of it is unfinished gravel / dust. The outer car parks appear mainly to be grass fields. The dust (if the weather if hot) is incredible and the cars end up absolutely covered. If it was wet, I can imagine it would be a mud bath. The VIP parking includes several charging points for electric vehicles. We had a good TV screen in front of our seats at Eau Rouge so it's easy to follow the action. However the speakers were either broken or impaired, because we couldn't hear anything clearly. The speakers at other parts of the circuit seemed much better though. You can also tune in to the commentary if you bring a personal radio. I didn't see any personal TV monitors for hire at this circuit, as we've had at other events. Spectators are allowed onto the track after the F1 race, so you can walk around and see the whole perspective, which is worthwhile. Beware the so-called 'meet the drivers' Pit Walk on the Thursday afternoon. Realistically far too many people are admitted to this, meaning it becomes way too overcrowded, as everyone pushes and shoves, trying to get near the front. Naturally you don't 'meet' any drivers; they walk up and down behind the fencing under the supervision of the police and stewards. At best you may grab a quick autograph or selfie, if you can reach over and the driver happens to lean over to you. Otherwise you can expect a quick glimpse and nothing more. This should be better organised e.g. allocate different time slots for different groups, or more restricted access etc. so that attendees have a better chance to get autographs. Travel arrangements If you choose to drive in, bear in mind that the traffic on the motorway toward the circuit (Junction 10) builds up to crazy levels, with lots of people using the outer lanes and then trying to cut across to skip the queue, so you really must set off very early to have a decent chance of getting into the circuit on time each day. You can expect delays of 1.5 - 2 hrs from 9am onwards, so set off early! The road in and out of the circuit is little more than a very tight farm track, which is not well maintained, with many potholes. So if you have a nice car and don't want to risk it, maybe consider a different method of travelling in. On Sunday the track action stops after the F1 race, around 3.30pm - 4pm. There is no point returning to your car at this point; you will only sit motionless for 2-3 hours while the enormous stream of traffic tries to exit using the tiny road mentioned earlier. So it is best to leave the car parked for a couple of hours and continue enjoying the 'after party' music etc. until the traffic begins moving again. Also beware of the bus services. We saw several buses with people crammed in like cattle and apparently they have no air conditioning, so it looked very unpleasant indeed, especially bearing in mind they will be cooped up in the stationary traffic for hours. Food / refreshments Our lunchboxes were quite good and we received a starter, main course and dessert each day, with a drink (water or iced tea), bread roll and condiments. All of this seemed quite good quality and it provided plenty of food to avoid feeling hungry, so we didn't need to use the circuit catering. We heard some people complaining that no vegetarian option was offered for the lunchboxes. Also some of the food contains nuts and there is no warning of this. Therefore the organisers should make more effort to address this. The food stalls seem ok, mainly 'junk food' really, but bear in mind that they operate a ticket-only system (no cash) in which you have to purchase €35 worth of tickets. So if you don't plan ahead you may end up with leftover tickets and wasted money. The drinks stalls do accept cash, so that's no problem. Prices were not too bad, for example €3.50 for a beer, broadly what you'd expect at this kind of event. You can take in your own food and drink if you wish, subject to certain restrictions. The temporary toilet facilities are actually ok if you use the 'Dixi' ones. The plastic 'portaloos' looked less appealing. Water does stream along some of the walkways and smells of sewage in the heat, so definitely avoid stepping in that. The under-track tunnel through to the inner circuit seating at Eau Rouge is blocked so that pedestrians can only travel in one direction (out) after 3pm, so be sure to keep that in mind if you need to get in and out between the F1 Fanzone and your seats. There is a sign above the tunnel to explain this. I hope this review is useful for you if you're considering travelling to Spa for the first time. Overall it is a very good circuit and you should be able to get a good view of the action. The downside is primarily the lack of organisation as per the points above, particularly the traffic, but if you can plan around this you should be ok and have a great time at the circuit.

Just returned from Spa Franorchamps F1 grand prix. All the reviews and information that your read/get beforehand does not do justice to this track. We were seated in the Gold 5 special stand which gave us the complete experience of Eau Rouge. It's not obvious from the map where the tunnel to cross across to the stand is however after going wrong a couple of times we eventually figured it out. Sign posting in the circuit is pretty useless as are the so called helpers who did not know one stand from another. One through the tunnel you take a left and its quite a steep climb up to Gold 5 stand. The stand is fenced off from the path way and your tickets get checked again as you enter in. We were seated riw 13 which is half way up the stand and were in sests 16 & 17 which are smack in the middle of the row but gave us excellent visibility across the track. Lunch is handed out from a small tented area just beneath the stand. Lunch is all contained in a box which you can rest onnyour knees and the back of the seat in front. It contains a starter, mains, dessert and snack plus a roll. Quality of the food in one word is fantastic. The only improvements could be the addition of a coffee station here so that you don't have to exit out to go hunting for it. Parking with the tickets is first class. Its clearly marked as you enter the track so easy to find. All 3 days we werr parked virtually right by the entrance to the track and F1 village. All in all about 10 mins walk from the stand. The toilets at the track are as other reviews tell you GRIM! We used a toilet block by the police station before you enter the track which were fine. The stand's speaker was not working which was a shame and commentary for the race via the track radio was very poor. In the end we used our F1 app and also Radio 5 sports! Overall our experience of the track was fantastic. We have a soft spot for Silverstone but Spa is a close 2nd Ticket handling was ok although tickets were only received with a day to go.

We bought these tickets for the 2016 F1 weekend, there was my wife, my 3yr old son and me. Good points: If you are arriving by car the parking is ideal The grandstand is covered and provides a good view from the inside of Eau Rouge. The food was of a high standard and certainly not your average packed lunch. There were no idiots in the grandstand, this was important as I had my 3yr old! The Book F1 staff contacted by email were brilliant, thank you. There is a big screen in clear view showing the international feed. The stand is a very short walk to the F1 shopping village. You can see the GP2 and Porsche Supercup cars leaving for the grid. Mediocre points: You had to eat your lunch in your seat, this doesn't sound like much but when you are presented with a 3 course lunch in your grandstand seat, it's very difficult to actually eat it, lots of faffing around trying to stack food everywhere, we eventually went to sit on the gravel at the front of the stand, as most other people did, so not really a bridge to hospitality. The prepared lunches were handed out from the back of a van which had varied arrival times. Bad points: As this was the first time this package had been available there was no understanding from the circuit personnel as to what the food tickets were, so it was difficult for us to find out what the arrangements were at first, the communication from the Book F1 personnel was great, who worked through the problems, I expect it will be better and a lot smoother for 2017 as the Book F1 staff were really responsive. Don't expect any VIP Hospitality treatment, this is a covered grandstand with a provided lunch. No tables or additional seating area to eat your lunch. Would I buy these tickets again? With a 3yr old and all the paraphernalia you have to carry, definitely yes, the parking was great and the real selling point for us, it took much pressure off us, we normally park in Francorchamps which is a trek with a pushchair. Are the tickets worth £670? It's a large amount of money for what you actually get, as the parent of a young child and this being our major holiday, definitely yes. If I had no children, wanted a gourmet lunch and didn't fancy burgers and hotdogs all weekend, then yes. If I just wanted to see the racing, there are cheaper options.
