Beschreibung

Great weekend

When searching for tickets, Book F1 was one of the cheapest sellers I found, the purchasing process was easy and straight forward, so was the payment. I received my confirmation by mail and whenever I had questions the team would answer me straight away with good answers. We got our tickets in time for the trip by DHL in a nice packaging with a circuit map that was very handy for the daily commute and some more information. We got seats with the specifications we required at Vedano and had incredible views of the end of the Parabolica, pit lane entrance and finish line, topped up with a big screen right across from us. Vedano is a covered tribune which was really good since there were a few showers during the race weekend that were really unexpected. Would definitely recommend Book F1.

Random bottle tops

Once again, it was a wet weekend leading up to the Grand Prix and it seemed to take the organizers by surprise. There were endless queues at security, they only allowed small bottles of water/juice, but removed the tops. Anyone will know that if one is at the track for the whole day, this is useless. I feel that this is a ploy to force punters to purchase ALL drinks inside the circuit. We stood in the queue from hell for more than an hour on Saturday, despite leaving well in time to catch the early races, which we then missed by a handsome margin. If anyone took the train from Centrale after 8.20 am, they would only have got into the track during quali. The Italians seem to have a rather flexible understanding of the queue concept, and this did lead to tempers being frayed to the point of violence. However, the racing was superb, and the toilet situation has definately improved since my last visit 3 years ago.

Lovely experience thinking to revisit

Started out early from Milan on Saturday and Sunday. The map enclosed with the ticket was a life saver. Encourage people to follow the map; instead of following the crowd. Introduction of proper toilets helped enhance the overall experience. Labelling according to numbers made it easier to locate your seats. It was a much better and enjoyable experience than last year

Grand Prix - Not enough money is spent on organising the venue in my opinion

We had weekend tickets for Monza. of course the Saturday was a wash out because of torrential rain. However there were no waterproof poncho's to purchase nor any undercover provisions. Our alternative was to spend £600 on branded kagools which we had to in the end and which were not waterproof. Considering this is supposed to be a family event the organisation felt poor. I feel that considering the price of four tickets for a weekend there is not much value. The food is not good / expensive and takes ages to que for. I would like to think some of the excesses that you see on the TV could be passed down the line a little to the fans who actually pay for a lot of those excesses. Clearer direction around the circuits would be good Plastic covers for when it rains A better queuing system for refreshments / food More entertainment outside of race times

Milan Grand Prix

The overall experience was good travelling to the circuit was easy and obviously the race its self was fabulous. The negatives are as follows the so called stewards didn't seem to have a clue as to what was going on in fact many of them seemed to be deliberately hiding behind trees ! The security was a worry as the staff doing the searching were few in number and very disorganised it would have been nice to see the police taking more of a interest in stead of chatting to the young girls ! And of course there's the toliet issue ?

Rain ...!

Firstly the experience with BookF1.com was excellent as ever. This is my fifth visit to Monza and I always have a great time. Saturday was badly hit by rain and I know the Italians are not so used to it as we are - but all the organisation around the track fell to pieces as soon as it started. Endless lines of people, slow ticket processing and poor security. The Black Line drops off in a different place this year and the only place you see a sign for Area 24 is right when you get there..! I'd imagine if this happened at Silverstone someone would be in overnight to put down woodchips or straw - not in Italy! Mud was the order of the day on Sunday as well. At times it felt like I was at Glastonbury..! Anyway, apart from that it was a great weekend and I'll be back next year.

Fantastic F1 Trip

Myself and 4 others decided to go to the Monza Formula 1 Grand Prix 2016 and booked tickets approx a month in advance. We used Milan as our base and traveled to the circuit on the Thursday (for the Pit Walk), Saturday (for Qualifying) and Sunday (for the race. On the Thursday we caught a train from Milano Centrale to Monza. Once at Monza we took a cab (once one appeared) to the circuit which dropped about a 2 minute walk from the pit gates. On the way back there were no taxi's to be found so we walked for about 20 - 25 minutes to catch the z221 Bus back to Monza Station and the train back to Milano Centrale. On the Saturday and Sunday we had pre-booked return train tickets + coach transfers to / from the circuit through the tenord.it/en/ website. These were 8 Euros each per day. We took the train from Milano Centrale to Monza and then boarded the Black Line Transfer Coach to the drop off point. We were then faced with a 30 - 35 minute walk through pleasant country side which forms part of the park to the Verdano part of the circuit. The return journey was the same in reverse on both days (we left quite late on the Sunday after walking the Monza Circuit). As for the Monza Pit Walk, GP2, GP3, Qualifying, Race and Post Race Circuit Walk - it was one of the most complete F1 events I have been to with a great atmosphere, friendly people, and the passion that only Ferrari Fans and a historical Formula One circuit can provide. Well worth a visit

Monza

Great race weekend only reason I have given 3 stars for race view is there were some trees to our right impeding our view which had they been trimmed back would be a 4 star view for the race.

Very good experience and enjoyed the race a lot!

The pit lane walk and the autograph session should be done differently. Only the first people that enter the pit lane could see the cars and the drivers and take autographs, because they entered first, took the good positions and didn't move for 2 hours. It should be done in a row, for example 10 mins the first ones, then another 10 mins the second ones etc. You can put a line in front of each team garage so that people go there, stay for 10mins and then the next ones go etc. In this way more people could see more. Moreover, since we pay so much for the tickets, the drivers should stay the whole 2 hrs there and give autographs. Not for 5 mins and then leave. Regarding the transportation with shuttle buses from train station to the circuit, this should be done for free. We have paid a big amount of money for the tickets, hence we should not be asked to pay also for the shuttle buses every day of the gp.

Monza 2016 , 1st time visit

Weather was hot ( so covered stand useful). Good views at Verdano of last corner and pit entry (with big screen just opposite). Buy or take a cushion with you as you are sat on a plank. Right in the action though. Facilities decent enough with catering just behind stand. Plenty of toilets, if not a bit stinky. Friendly locals, great atmosphere. My partners 1st F1 trip and she loved it. Getting to circuit wasy enough. Red line metro from milan (no changes). Off the metro onto the z221 bus and you are there. No need for train. Tickets arrived nice and early and happy with service. Will use again

Great weekend

Great weekend, only downside was the very long walk following a very crushed bus transfer to track. Shame the bus does not drop off slightly nearer the entrance.

Great Weekend

Stayed at Como, so bought the combined train/bus ticket for €8 each day, well organised getting the Black line bus from Monza station to the park, and then the 30 min walk to the stand. Had seat 18 so very close to corner, view was obscured by TV screen. Fantastic atmosphere.

monza 2015

On the Saturday, we got the train, from Central Station. Got the train tickets no problem, which included train and bus return for 9 euros. When we got up to the platform area, we asked staff for the train to Monza and were given different advice. Finally after 45minutes, a friendly member of staff, spent the time and told us the train goes to garibaldi, where we change for Monza, which no one had told us before. Once on the right train, in was no problem getting the connection for Monza. The staff at Monza (great), directed us to the buses, which were waiting outside. There is a walk of about 30mins to the circuit. There are porta-loos along the way and all around the circuit. For some advise, its best to take some toilet roll with you. There are plenty of places outside the circuit and inside, for food and drink. Prices aren't bad, drink about 5euros a pint (which is better than Milan) and food is about the same. The Sunday, back to Central for train. They do direct trains to Biassono/Lesmo station. There was no free train service available. Best to go direct to where platforms are, because they do slightly cheaper tickets, than getting them at ticket office. Tickets on offer were 4 euros return. It gets full on the train, so set off early. We were seated at Vedano 24, so the walk was long through the National Park, from the train station and the signage could be better for directions. When we were walking to Vedano, we found lots of viewing places around the track to watch the race. People were enjoying themselves, bringing in there own food/drink and having barbecues. The race was great and at the end, everyone runs on to the track. It was a great atmosphere around the place. Even better with Lewis winning! Probably in future, will get the train, from Garibaldi station to Monza station, then the bus. Its defiantly worth the effort and going, to this true race circuit, providing Bernie doesn't have his way and knock if off the circuit list. (Don't forget toilet roll and hand gel, if your caught short).

Great atmosphere you cannot get from tv

Race itself very processional, with a few bursts of excitement, but incredible electric atmosphere around the place. Very helpful people to help get us around a large and quite complex race track. Take something to sit on, and book return travel for Monday, it takes the rush out of getting away from the circuit.

Service and ticket delivery is great

Hi, all was good. But u need to give more information about how far it is to walk. The black line is also a good 2.5 km from the Verano entrance. The train from monza fs to Milan Centrale are packed on way back. Better to go via Garibaldi to Centrale No additional services run There is no fixed seating. But monza is monza and as usual great.
