What can I see?

The Biondetti grandstand is located back to back with the Centrale grandstand and overlooks the Biondetti chicane and Correntaio U-bend. There is a lot of concentration and technical skill required from the riders to make their way through the two bends and the short straight, making Biondetti a fantastic grandstand to watch the final section of the race!

What do I get with my ticket?

Biondetti is reserved seating on Saturday and Sunday. The circuit operate a roving policy on Friday 29th May, giving all 3-day ticket holders roaming access to all general admission areas and grandstands.

Mugello MotoGP 2019

Bookmoto was awesome at getting us our tickets way before our flight out. They also sent race day information a few days prior which as somewhat helpful. Their service is great overall! Advice for future Mugello race day goers. We took the train from Firenze S.M.N to S. Piero at 8:20. it was perfect and we got a seat. No need to get the earliest one out there. Would get to the train station early to guarantee a seat on the train as its about a 40 min trip. No buses were at the train station when we arrived. Well there was one but he was charging $30 to go 1 km. Maybe the buses to the circuit were at the Borgo train stop. I would highly recommend taking your bike there or hiring a taxi driver. The traffic is not horrendous getting to the circuit and the taxi driver could get you there in less than an hour for $50. We did not do it and we ended up walking the whole way which was horrible as cars zipped by us thanks to other reviews saying its and still traffic (not true at all). Leaving the course is a nightmare. We walked all the way back to the train station as no taxis were available. Got onto the train as a sweaty hot mess and had to stand as there were literally no seats. If I were to do this again, I would hire the mini bus option thats offered to get me to and from there. If thats not possible, then definitely get a taxi up there from the train station and hire mini bus ahead of time for the way back only.

Couldn't have asked for more

WOW!!! We attended Saturday qualifying and Sunday races. The Italian crowd ensured an atmosphere not to be surpassed by any other race meeting! The noise and passion for racing was evident in every direction! Seats were biondetti silver- well worth the money!!! We had amazing views of multiple corners, covered and a screen in front, also with access to view the super fast home straight! Bring ear plugs and walking shoes- congestion is every bit as bad as the reviews! But don't be put off, walking the Tuscan country side with 100,000 Rossi fans was unmissable! An amazing weekend, unmissable for any bike fan, we will be back!

Excellant weekend

Mugello is an amazing place to visit. The grandstand tickets are well worth the money and the facilities are excellent.

Excellent time!

- Covered seating (Biondetti) was key. It was a hot weekend, and being in the shade was easily 25*F cooler than being in the sun. Also, even having Biondetti silver seats, you could stand and watch the start/finish line and pit road over the Biondetti platinum seats. - There is no easy way to get to the Biondetti grandstands, nor any signs for them in the facility. You must walk all the way around the race track and look for the "Central Grandstands." - The Biondetti bathrooms were great and very clean. Ladies should bring their own toilet paper though, just in case. The "public" bathrooms were not clean by Saturday, and often had long lines. - Bring earplugs! Mugello never sleeps - even during the day! The people are crazy. Like Woodstock, but with motorcycles. But we never felt unsafe. - You can bring a bag with food/drinks, as long as you don't bring in glass containers (there is a supermarket ("Penny Market") in nearby Borgo San Lorenzo). Beers were E4.50-E6.00...panini and pizza E6.00. Not terrible, but not great either. - We stayed in Vicchio. Beautiful, postcard-perfect Tuscany town about 20-30 minutes away from the track. We had a car, and parked on the side of the road about 1-1.5km away from the Luco entrance to the track (on SP42 in Borgo San Lorenzo) and walked to the track.

Great event but sad seating

Great event, we would go again however we had a smashed seat and no seemed to care that we'd paid good money for it and wasn't able to sit the full weekend. There's absolutely no traffic control when leaving the circuit, expect huge delays. If your a biker be aware, three mile out they have speed traps waiting for you... Please do not let this put you off going, it's an experience you must have when following the Motogp. We will simply go elsewhere

Four star

Great weekend. Silver facilities including toilets were well worth paying extra for. Would sit a bit higher to miss glass screen infront but not a big issue. Food was great. Leaving circuit was difficult as motor homes and bikes used same tracks as pedestrians. Overall good weekend and communication through book moto was excellent.

Mugello MotoGP 2015

The first day (Friday) we were limited to the Arrabiata section which was clearly stated in the race itinerary. You must enter at only that gate and must stay within this rather small section which is quite far from the track and provide your own seating or sit on the grass. I would not recommend this section if other options are available. Days two and three we were quite pleased to have seats in the covered Biondetti level two grandstand which allowed us to roam around and have great views of the start/finish area to turn one as well as turns 12, 13, 14 and the entrance to 15. You can also see the podium and pit/garage area and bits of turns 10 and 11. This area allows access to many concessions and some manufacturers tents at ground level. If you drive to the track it is easy to find parking on Friday and Saturday but Sunday (race day) is very crowded. Bookmoto.com delivered our tickets to our home in the US in a timely fashion and provided important details about the track and schedules in the race packet. After the initial booking they kept us informed with additional information and notifications pertaining to delivery. I recommend booking early to get the best possible ticket options. We had a great weekend and will use bookmoto.com in the future!

Italian GP

Race was great, circuit and facilities were great BUT transport to and from the venue was very disappointing: Saturday - train from Florance to station close to Mugello was OK, no shuttle from there we took a municipal bus. From Mugello back to train station - no shuttle and no bus, eventually got onto a municipal bus to Florance. Sunday - morning no shuttle or bus from train station to Mugello, eventually got onto a private? taxi, costed 10 Euro per person for 8km. Was dropped at the far gate and had to walk all around the track to Biondetti. After the race - no shuttle, bus or taxi back to train station, had to walk the 8km. In general communication in English at the train stations and bus depots is a big problem. People are not unfriendly but communication is poor.

Amazing!!!

It was simply amazing, one of my best memories, no doubt! The view from the Silver Biondetti is great and the atmosphere was wonderful. It has been very difficult to get out Scarperia after the race but our head were so full of splendid memories... we have been patient... ;-)

Amazing Experience

This was my first experience of a MotoGP live and was a little concerned as had heard it could be quite manic - it was in an amazing way! Got parked a mile or so away from the circuit and walked with the thousands of others, mainly dressed in yellow. Once inside the atmosphere is fantastic, the Italians know how to party but at all times I felt safe and comfortable. We had a wander round to soak up the atmosphere before heading to the grandstand. We had a brill view of the racing, worth every penny. At the end of the racing the crowds flood onto the track waiting for VR to appear, it's like nothing I've ever experienced. Amazing! Advice - get there early, if driving queues start a few miles from the circuit. Park away and walk, much easier to leave at the end and a great atmosphere. Prices of food inside very reasonable

Main issue is venue access

We found access to and from the track a challenge.there seemed to be chaos after the event with no clear way to make it back to the train station. All roads clogged with a mixture of walkers cars and bikes. We walked in the general direction of Borgo San lorenzo for a couple of hours before hitching a lift to the town, then caught the train. No sign of buses! In the morning the 7.30 am train from Florence was standing room only with people left at the station,so people need to be early. There were a few taxis at the station in the morning but no bus.

Italian motogp

time away was fab, just one concern we booked camper van parking as i own a T4 VW camper and the security on the gate wasn't going to let us in because it wasn't a big white camper as they see it, they let us in after i showed them inside and they could see the cooking facilities and sleeping arrangement, so you might want to make a note for future references. i did see another two T4's come in later which made me think they might of been after a back hander to let us in.

Like other reviews work out how you getting there coz it a downer on weekend. We were in Florence and getting train to borgo San Lorenzo is the easy bit, we never saw any free buses just rushed onto mini bus cramped in and before you can think some mad Italian taxi driver has you praying that you survive and then charge everyone 10 euros for privilege. then the long walk begins and if you bought centrale seats you get to walk for miles lol. It is so worth it the noise and atmosphere and the bikes the buzz is amazing, just the knowledge of journey back . Would defo do again but on the back of hubbys R6 the only way to do it. :-) don't be put off go and book and prepare.:-)
