Gold 9 is located at the end of the pit straight with the starting grid to the right and the La Source bend to the left. The pit garages can also be seen.

The f1 weekend in belguim was super and a great place to visit. Unfortunately tinged with sadness with the loss of the F2 Driver who lost his life Antonie Hubert. RIP. We thought the tv screens were too small and no enough of them to keep us up to date with the F1 action on the rest of the track. We had gold 9 starting grid position. Which we hoped to see more but when everyone stood up missed allot of the action. The sky tv channel was not visible externally as it was positioned inside the priviledged hospitality lounge. It was diffcult to keep up with what was happening throughout. But the atomosphere and roar of live show was great. Drinks were very expensive as was food and had to be purchased thro a token system which was not good. I would say buy all food and drink in the town before you go into venue. Need more screens and better coverage for english speaking guest.

Only booked for race day, great seat, great atmosphere really exciting, apart from the sad news from the day before.

Really enjoyable weekend at the Spa Grand Prix, good tickets in Gold 9, however tickets in any stand look pretty good. Very enjoyable weekend.

The whole process of ordering tickets and camping was easy. The camp site was more than adequate and in a good location. What an experience. The Belgium Grand Prix is a must go to venue for F1 fans

Perfect seating and good view, BUT the screens are way too small. There is no chance to see the standings on the screen. Also the screens could be placed a bit higher. All in all, a good experience :-)

Really enjoyed the weekend but only had stand tickets for Sunday as I was also treating my granddaughter for her 18th and she is an avid fan of F1 and this was her first GP. She was delighted with the seats, being able to see start/finish line and the pit lane. Tickets arrived safely in time and the additional information enclosed and map was more than helpful so thank you.

Opted for yellow camping and gold stand tickets which were an excellent investment with short walk to the circuit and seats opposite the finishing line and pits. Pros: beautiful venue, fantastic circuit and atmospheric social venues. Cons: Fanzone closed very early in evening & the campsite toilets were very noisily cleaned at 4-5am each morning; not good after a late night!

Book F1 was very deligent. tickets were delivered vía e-mail a couple of weeks before the race and were nice enough to reply to my e-mail regarding some logistical arrangements. In terms of the race itself, everything was ok. Enough food shops, bathrooms, etc. I went with my five year old son who entered free of charge and no problem.

Too many people , a lot of shouting and delay in getting away after the race I would not like this experience again. Commentary not to good standard a and too loud music

In 2010 we went to SPA with BookF1 and have been back every year since. They provide great service. This year's race was brilliant - we were in Gold 9 for the first time. I struggled to see much from my seat but my husband was happy with his and I was happy to stand for the duration of the race and had a brilliant view of the pits and down to La Source. Agree with other comments this year on the voucher system for food. We just took our own which we would recommend anyone else to do if they can.

Had a brilliant weekend well worth the money in gold

As it was a treat for my husbands 50th was unhappy that we missed the pit walk due to Ryanair changing our flight times 3 times was told we weren't allowed on the Frid. Or Sat due to F1 restrictions!! However the paddock club were allowed in on all 3 days felt he missed out on a large part of his present but we obviously did not part with enough cash to be important!!

For me this is the best race on the calendar by a country mile so it's impossible to be completely negative, there are however some small gripes, the herras fencing covered with green plastic privacy fencing obstructs views from the entire la source area unless you are in your seat! Not exactly what you'd expect from a "Spectator" event. Access to and from the track is not to bad, around 45mins for the last km when you arrive and around 75 mins on departure. plenty of food outlets, plenty of toilets, plently of refreshments outlets, water, beer, soft drinks all €3.50.

I read some reviews about the poor facilities beforehand and thought it can't be that bad, guess what? IT WAS! The only positive I have about the whole experience was the brilliant gold 9 view I had, and the fact that Lewis won, everything else was less than poor. Car parking in a field miles away from the circuit was NO gold experience. The lack of and poor quality food and the toilets for a gold standard ticket were a joke. Spa is one of my favourite race to watch on TV and have always wanted to attend a live race, at least I can now say I've done it, but I won't be spending my hard earned cash to go to this over priced and over rated circuit again.

Race was very good facilities at spa were terrible queues for food and drinks were impossible and after race everything closed no signposts from car park to track my wife and myself took nearly an hour to get back to our car working uphill I'm sure there would have been a better route but as I said no directions or anybody to ask but worse of all took 4 hours to get to hotel arrived at nine no food and told you can get nothing to eat in belguim and Holland after 8pm the whole experience was ruined through bad facilities and dreadful infrastructure I can remember a few years ago Bernie threatened Silverstone with losing the British grandprix because of these problems but spa is worse will never go there again I have been to several including Silverstone in the bad old days but Spa is even worse,

Great 3 days but as others have said food and drink is limited and expensive and the facilities are not that great, clearly Spa trades on its history. We were in Gold 9 row 10 which is quite far back in the stand which meant we could not see the two screens in front of the stand just the one opposite above the pit lane but it was difficult to read lap times and positions on it. Just after the start of FP2 this screen froze and was not fixed until under 10 minutes before the end of FP2 even though we complained several times. The grandstand attendant was not great nor was the signage to the seats which lead to people sitting anywhere they liked. We also had car park 4-5-6 booked at 16 Euros a day but on race day got directed to car park 7 or 8 which was miles away which was an open public car park costing 10 Euros.

Overall experience good for the weekend. Our seats were 3 from the front and was OK but as the seats were not evaluated a lot if you were further towards the back viewing of the track would have been harder with the people in front of you. The screen at the front of the stand was not very visible. You did have a screen at the paddock side which you could see the race but too far to see any writing advising on race positions. The facilities were not very high. We only had a drink stall on the Friday to Sunday and on the Saturday and Sunday had a fast food stall. It looked like it only offered chips and hotdogs. Not a big selection. The toilet facilities were portaloos and they did not seem to be cleaned (lack of toilet paper) often. I would have expected more frequent checks for the ticket price. The access was good from Friday through Sunday, plenty of parking within a mile and even if you used the locals fields (not the official parking) the price was only 10 euros. On the Thursday entry, there was a big queue and it did take a long time to enter the race track (45 minutes) and we arrived early.

While I would recommend every fan to go and see some race in person, I would definitely not recommend going to Spa. The race was great, the atmosphere is fantastic and the circuit is simply beautiful, but the organization is even poorer than in Monza and I thought that we experienced the worst in Monza already. I do not understand why is such problem to let people in advance to know that some walking paths will be closed after the race and there will be only one exit or that the bus will drop you in the morning in different location than on Friday and Saturday. Or why we were forced to walk for half an hour to the location where buses were picking up people after the race. Or why the staff cannot speak English if majority of fans come from abroad. Overall, if you bring your own car or rent one, you should be fine and enjoy the race weekend.

Providing you pretty much want to live on chips take food with you. Also onlo alcohol drink available is beer! Awesome circuit where TV does no justice to the height changes. Recommend to anyone!

Spa-Francorchamps circuit is a very popular circuit for General Admission. If you are purchasing a Bronze: General Admission ticket, you are welcome to take fold-down chairs and blankets with you, but please be advised that the terrain of this area can be quite rough and hilly in places. Due to the size of this circuit, there may also be long walks to the General Admission areas, depending on the entrance that you use.
