Woodcote A is located on the entrance to the Woodcote corner. From this covered grandstand, you will see the cars as they come through Brooklands into the slow Luffield complex. You will also get the roar of engines as the car accelerate into the National Pit Straight.

Discounted grandstand child tickets are not available for children in the Woodcote A and so a full priced adult ticket must be purchased for children. What a fabulous time my husband and I had celebrating his 60th at Silverstone for the first time, we will definitely be going again next year. The organisation of the event was excellent and use of the park and ride a definite bonus to making the weekend stress free. Due to the very hot weather we were really pleased that we had booked a grandstand ticket and it was an added bonus being able to rove the grandstands on the pre match days, we got a real insight into where the best position was.

This is the first Grand Prix I have attended after following the sport for the last 10 years. I only attended the qualifying day (Saturday), but based on the experience, I will definitely be attending the full race weekend next year. The atmosphere was fantastic and there was plenty of on-track action all day: Historic Race, Track Parades (hearing the old V10 engine of a Red Bull was amazing), Formula 3 Race, F1 Practice 3, F1 Qualifying, GP2 Race and Porsche Mobil 1 Qualifying. Additionally, though probably a one-off, I was able to watch the England-Sweden semi-finals match with several thousand other motor sport/football fans.

All 3 days and was able to watch from every corner some racing. Most enjoyable and entertaining.

Roaming for two days is great, we managed to sit opposite Lewis Hamilton Garage for Qualifying and the atmosphere and enthusiasm from everyone was electrifying. Then on race day, Woodcote A didn't disappoint. Great view, just the chap behind was giving his girlfriend a running commentary on what was going to happen next and that the pit lane was a fab place they were sitting in! think he was bit wrong with that statement and I actually put my ear plugs in because of him not the noise of the cars. Otherwise fabulous time.

The campsite was very good, organised and with a nearby large screen TV, bar, food at reasonable prices. Short walk to Becketts corner and race weekend all went well, Silverstane was very well managed

Used the megabus which was easy to meet up going to and from Silverstone (organized, fairly quick entering and leaving). Plenty of food and drink options at reasonable prices. Minimal queues for bathrooms and food/drink. Preface airshow was fantastic. Only improvements would be more water filling stations and make wifi available.

Tickets were brought for my son's 40th, he said it was the best birthday present ever. He said the whole day was well organised, transfer by shuttle bus very efficient there and back. . Perfect seats, outstanding view of the race, plus big screen covering the rest of the track. Food and clothing outlets brilliant. Atmosphere was amazing, a fantastic day.

Bought tickets for my husband on his 40th because he's a fan. Knew a little about the sport myself, but after this weekend, I'm hooked! The atmosphere was great, and with the roving grandstand tickets we had, could watch the practices, qualifiers and race from various seats throughout the event. Also enjoyed the f2 races and was glad that we had the program to learn a little more about the additional races that were happening. Shuttle parking was a bonus, with no queues whatsoever to enter the car park, or indeed leaving after the race on Sunday. Would love to visit again.

Really had a fab time at Silverstone for the F1 - very exciting and excellent atmosphere. Had good seats in Woodcote A with a great view of the action. Unfortunately we had seats high in the stand (our choice) so didn't get a good view of the Red Arrows, so would reconsider this for future events. On the roaming days, we tried Becketts and the view from there was fabulous but it was very cold in the wind! The only negative as far as we were concerned was the Park and Ride. We were allocated to use Turweston which was quite a distance from the race track and down narrow country lanes. We were staying at the Premier Inn at Junction 10 on the M40 and it took us 1.5 hours to get from the hotel to the racetrack! We had decided to use the Park and Ride service because of traffic issues visiting Silverstone in the past, but feedback from other race goers staying at the hotel was that getting in and out of the racetrack by car was not a problem on the Friday/Saturday.

The roving grandstand ticket was brilliant and meant we could watch almost all the circuit at various points on the weekend. The facilities were excellent including many varieties of food and drink and plenty of toilets, places to sit etc. All in all a fabulous weekend. The park and ride was excellent-if quite a way off the beaten track. The buses were frequent and we didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes at any point.

BookF1.com are very reliable and do exactly as they they say. Keep you updated about your tickets, when they have been posted. If you had a good time, every was perfect! Myself and my Dad had an amazing three days. The only let down was Silverstone helpers in blue and pink ..if you asked any off them anything they didn't know...they missed out on driving experiences but what a weekend Thankyou again

The whole race weekend was a brilliant time. Everything seemed to be really well organised and there were loads of officials on hand to answer any queries. Two suggestions: A healthy eating option with regards to food stalls on offer I was surprised that in terms of security, not all bags were being searched Otherwise and incredible experience which we would definitely consider again.

The event was very well organised with plenty of activities in and around the qualifying and race themselves and a good selection of food outlets. Very few drinking water taps though so had to pay too much for water!

We came in Thursday night and camped for 3 days. Entrance to track was about a 7 minute walk and was by Stowe. Plenty of facilities; food, rides, bars, Force India area, etc. Showers got crowded at peak times but cleaning was going on constantly so the facilities were in good shape. Great view from Woodcote A. I was at Becketts last year and I think Woodcote A might actually be better. I felt there were even more food/beverage choices over last year and though they were a bit pricey I was glad for the choice. I have only been to one other F1 venue, which is Hockenheim, and have to say Silverstone puts that one to shame. Just far more of an "event" with stuff to do all weekend when there is no racing going on (bands, rides, parties etc.). It can get expensive as some have pointed out and I agree but they sure give you something for it.

We had a wonderful time. The toilet facilities (always important!) were kept very clean and your night clean-up staff did a sterling job. There was a lack of bins at the main stage area and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, there was a mountain of rubbish all round the bins and on the floor. More bins there please. The only negative side was the food (lovely for meat eaters) as there was not a lot of choice available for those of us who don't eat meat. The other major bugbear we had was the price of the team merchandise - it was horrendously expensive. Is there no way the FIA can curb them from charging £65 for a T shirt? The Silverstone merchandise was much more reasonable (thank you Silverstone). There was loads to do all day, every day and when we got back we were absolutely tired out (that's a good thing!) I am hoping to be back again in 2018. We were based at Woodlands and again, the toilets and showers were never messy and the stewards were wonderful. Thank you for a lovely holiday Silverstone.

Really good experience. One point though- we paid for extra space but no one was bothered everyone just pitched wherever at Whittlebury Park. Lots of walking both to the track and around the track- bikes would have been good and plenty of people had them. Lots of places to leave them at the circuit. Take a cool bag or box with cans no glass allowed. Drinks very expensive!

we accessed from M40 on Saturday. was quick and efficient. Access from M1 on Sunday, albeit busier was very slow 1 hr 20mins from 9.30am. track screens could be bigger. the race should not have had to start under safety car, made it a bit of a procession cars should have driver identification within team easier to see rather than stare at colour yellow or black camera and memorise for each team. saying that Silverstone best circuit
