Fantastic Weekend

Having only been to Silverstone and Spa, I was excited to be able to secure very reasonably priced tickets in the Red Bull Stand at Hungary. What a fantastic circuit...! It's sort of in a bowl and so from most places you can see a good deal of the track, not just the bit you are immediately by. Met some wonderful people, the weather was superb, the atomosphere was great too! Yes, the food was expensive - £15 for a hotdog... But, this is true of most of these places. The beer is limited to one type only and about £3 a pint, but not massively expensive when you consider the price at Silverstone for a beer and at least you can buy a beer in the circuit - unlike Spain...! You can't bring your own in, which you can in Silverstone and you can only bring a small bottle of water, everything else needs to be purchased at the track. Highly recommended and can't wait to go again....

Amazing weekend

Our first time in Hungary but what an experience, The Thursday pit walk was poorly organized and over subscribed it was more like being herded on a train commute not the enjoyable experince it should have been. However the three days of racing were phenomenal, even the rain couldn't get people down. the atmosphere was electric and we'll definitely be back!

Fantastic weekend! Great atmosphere but be prepared to QUEUE!!!

We had 3 Corner Red Bull tickets for the weekend which meant we were seated in a different part of the main straight each day which was good. On the Thursday between 4pm and 6pm they let people on the track and pit lane entry. It was a fantastic atmosphere, lots of food, drink and merchandise stalls. The weather was hot all weekend which was great (if you like the hot weather that is). The only negatives are that the toilets get ridiculously busy on Saturday and Sunday. And finally the queuing for a taxi at the end of the race was horrendous. We left the track at 4.45pm ish and then marched like a penguin in the blistering heat for about 45 minutes towards the entrance gate (Why there is only 1 gate is beyond me!). Then we joined a taxi queue and then finally got in the taxi at 9pm!!! However, it was a great weekend and fairly cheap!

Better than expected

I got this for my other halfs birthday, and was expecting to be a lot of waiting around. Oh, how wrong I was there was so much to do, and am 100% now a fully fledged F1 fan! Our seats were in the red bull stand and well worth the money, I would definitely recommend booking your tickets through bookF1

Budapest Grand Prix

I booked the Red Bull 3 different seats for the weekend meaning that on each day of the race weekend I was seated at different places along the start finish straight , loved this because I had a great viewpoint on each day , BOOKINGF1.COM got me my tickets delivered on the day that I needed them which was great , Overall I was delighted with the service and I will be booking my next F1 race with BookF1.com

A great weekend

We bought the Three corner weekend passes. This gave us pit access Thursday, The main grandstand Friday and Saturday and the RedBull grandstand on the final hairpin for Sunday. A great ticket combination although we couldn't get onto the track when the race had finished.

Great time had at Grand Prix

We had a great time at the Hungarian Grand Prix. The seats allocated were superb, especially on race day. The atmosphere at this Grand Prix is great with everyone enjoying themselves.

2017 Hungarian Grand Prix

I, with a grouo of friends attended the Hungarian Grand Prix in 2017. What I try to do is go to Silverstone plus one overseas race each season. This was first my visit to the Hungarian race and we got 3-day Red Bull grandstand seats. This meant we had Gold 1 (start of pit-straight) on Friday, Super Gold (covered start/finish grandstand) and Red Bull (uncovered overlooking final 1/3 of circuit seated at final corner) on raceday. Staying in Budapest we travelled to the circuit via the suburban railway (line H8). The nearest station to the circuit is 3km from the venue along a dirt track on a steady incline so be prepared for a long walk in hot weather. The circuit itself is very good though, food choices are diverse and competitive for circuit prices. There is also plenty of entertainment away from the track as well. Depending on what you want to see I would recommend watching some sessions on the far side of the circuit around the chicane area. This is because the circuit sits in a bowl which from that area will afford the spectator great views of a significant part of the track. The pit straight views are good if you like to see the garages but don't afford the greatest views of the cars really working and it is for this reason I'd say the Red Bull grandstand is the best of the three grandstands I sat in. The race itself is very well attended - there are a lot of Finns whom come to this race and their vocal support really adds to making it a great atmosphere. The only gripes I had were the giant screens giving spurious information - the lap chart also malfunctioned which meant we had to guess when the last lap was. The speaker system was poor too - we could hear neither the anthems or driver interviews. Also, don't expect a speedy departure once the raceday action has been concluded. On the whole I would recommend this race to any F1 fan though, the weather is usually great, food/entertainment options are good and combined with a city break with Budapest, a vibrant and interesting city would make this a must-go.

Sensational Atmosphere at the Hungaroring

My 7th different Grand Prix attended and my first time using Book F1. Booked the 3 Corner Red Bull package and got exactly the seats I asked for on the Sunday in one of the back rows of the Red Bull Stand which provided views across the entire circuit. Superb atmosphere in what at times felt like a football style crowd. With plenty of nationalities getting amongst it (The Finns were the stand out) Getting to the circuit wasn't to bad, we opted for the suburban train which was only 250HUF for a single ticket. The only time we found it a bit crowded was after the Race, with 30 minute gaps between trains it does create some what of a bottleneck on the small platform. Saturday we were seated in the Super Gold stand right opposite the Ferrari and Red Bull garages which was terrific. The off track entertainment was brilliant and up there with any Grand Prix I have attended! The toilets were okay in some areas of the circuit but very poor behind the Red Bull stand. Food and drink was great value and there were plenty of outlets dotted around so getting a beer was easy! All in all a great weekend. The best value for money race in Europe and something so would recommend to anyone. It will be hard to turn it down again next year!

Hot, excellent view, great atmosphere

Very hot weather so be prepared, lots of sunscreen and fluids. Food can be expensive but drinks not so bad. If going for weekend 3 corner Red Bull was a great choice. Budapest is lovely city and we hired car to get to circuit - so easy to get around. Aim to arrive early on race day!

No dramas

Everything happened exactly as described. Tickets I ordered arrived in the time frame promised. The website and updates were quite useful and the account page which has status of your tickets is reassuring. The only down side was I requested high up seats which I didn't get but I guess BookF1 are at the mercy of the the tickets allocated to them by the track. I would use bookf1 again.

Very well organised

Really impressed with the organisation of the transport to and from the circuit over the 3 days, we didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes for a bus. The pack sent with the tickets gave us all the information needed including the full itinerary. Hungary is an amazing place, so much to do outside of the racing. The only negative is the lack of information on getting to the circuit for the Thursday pit walk. In all the whole experience was brilliant and we will definitely be booking again next year for a different track

A great weekend in glorious sunshine.

Brilliant weekend in Budapest. Took the 3 corner package, didn't make the Friday but the Super Gold on Saturday was Good, right in the middle opposite the pits, with the bug screen above. Sunday in the Red Bull area even better, you could see the cars come down the short straight head on, before tackling the final corner/pit land entry, and accelerating away down the main straight. Brilliant atmosphere, very well organised event. Food pricey in places, but drinks very reasonable for this type of event. First time at F1, won't be the last!

Awesome

It was great, I went for the whole weekend with Redbull 3 stans thing. Friday on Gold 1, Saturday on Super Gold and Sunday on Redbull. I liked Gold 1 the most. I recoment going early in the morning. I was around 8 on the track. Next time I would buy the VIP parking as they have their own priority lane and on Sunday after the race the Free Parking exist is trough some dirt roads, because the normal road is only for VIP. The organization of traffic could be a little better. Ear plugs were good for F2 and GP3 as those were really loud. Communication with BookF1 was great and fast. Tickets were sent to Slovakia in 1 day after they sent them, like 2 weeks before the race. I would definitely recommend. If you are going, don't forget suncream.

Great weekend. Worth the effort to travel.

Definitely worth getting a 3 Corner Ticket so that you get to see the track from different views. I think if we were to go again though, we would go for the Super Gold as protection from the rain and sun. It gets very hot and can pour with rain. Pack some ponchos and an umbrella. There is plenty of choice of food and drink and reasonably priced. We found the access into the circuit well organised and there was plenty of parking. However, getting out of the track was a nightmare for the public parking areas. We managed to find a track around the perimeter and made our way back to Budapest.

Got more than expected

The Hungarian Grand Prix which I have just attended too went so much beyond my expectations that I don't know what to say. The views from the Red Bull package, (Bronze 1 on Friday, Gold 1 on Saturday and Red Bull 1 on Sunday) were just amazing and good. Besides, the atmosphere was simply the best, especially thanks to those crazy Finnish fans with the "Kimi for President" banner, who have won my respect for the entertainment given throughout the whole weekend from wherever they passed. I also managed to get hold of almost all Sky Italia, Sky UK and Channel 4 people which include the hot and beautiful Federica Masolin from Sky Italia, the great David Croft and DC amongst other. I even managed to get a discussion with Johnny Herbert on why he criticised Alonso earlier this season (2016). But to top it all, the Thursday walkabout where with immense pride for me as a McLaren Honda supporter, I successfully managed to get Fernando to sign his Alonso cap which I have got, (apart from meeting Jenson on Saturday at Kempinski Hotel where he was staying and where I have met also several personnel including Eric Boullier, Maurizio Arrivabene and the two Force India drivers, Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez.) Finally, a word to the Book F1 staff who like always they managed to successfully place me wherever I wanted and were always at hand whenever I had a query with regards this weekend. So thanks to you all Book F1 people and keep up the good work you are doing. Until the next race which I'll be going in 2017.

Race only, little else to see

The track did a poor job providing parking options. I also found the entire weekend minimal when it came to entertainment between racing. No fan area as other tracks have.

Some High's and some Low's

Access to the Circuit was not difficult if you are happy to walk or pay for a taxi, I was surprised that there was no free pick up points for Buses or Coaches unless you were coming from Budapest. Leaving the Circuit was a little worse, the local police were shutting of roads for no reason at all and it all seemed a little chaotic at times. We also had to direct our taxi where to go even though our hotel was only 11 minutes away.
