Monaco 2019

Excellent service from book F1. Tickets were in areas requested - Saturday qualifying near top of stand T1 - excellent view of the pits from Mercedes to McClaren. Decent view of TV screen and bar / food and toilets under the stand. Sunday race stand O near the top at the far RH end as you face the track - great view of the swimming pool section and the pit lane exit. Bar / food and toilets under the stand, but you can use the better toilets under stand T. TV screen and commentary. No queing to get into circuit. Very easy train travel from Nice to Monaco and circuit only a short walk from the station.

Amazing Monaco GP trip

4 of us have just returned from an incredible trip to the 2019 Monaco GP for our husbands' 50th Birthdays. We stayed in Antibes and travelled to Monaco by train on Saturday and Sunday, which was very straight forward - regular trains and last trains leaving Monaco around 11.15pm (otherwise it's a taxi, which are few and far between.) We were lucky to watch the qualifiers on Saturday from the window of a friend's office overlooking Rascasse Corner and for Sunday, we had bought grandstand tickets in Upper T1. We chose this grandstand as a friend works for Red Bull and would be in their garage in the pits opposite. For this reason, it was a fantastic location for us to view both the track and the pits, as well as a nearby big screen, so we could see all the action (you do need to be in the upper section of T to see the pits however.) To top it off, we had access to the Red Bull Energy Station on Sunday, which was a really fantastic experience. Both days provided all the excitement that Monaco has to offer and it's pretty easy walking around, finding bars and restaurants and there was a nice fan zone at Place D'Armes. As we were mainly based around Rascasse area for the weekend, I can't comment on how easy it is to access the Casino/Loews end of town on GP weekend, but from the station to the Port it is easy and grandstands are well signposted. Book F1 were really helpful, great communication and obviously fulfilled our request for positioning in the stand, which was brilliant. A fantastic, once in a lifetime weekend - and watching the Monaco GP (on the TV in future!) will never be the same again, but will bring back some amazing memories!

Excellent Experience

I arranged our visit to Monaco's Grand Prix for my husband's birthday knowing nothing about it and to be honest I had no real interest in it. The advice and information provided was invaluable and we had a fantastic 2 days. I am a Grand Prix convert!! I would advise anyone planning on a visit in future to read all information available to prepare as mush as you can - our visit was seamless due to preparation. Our tickets were for Tribune T High for both days and I would highly recommend this area. The view of the race and the pit lanes was amazing and really added to our experience.

Fabulous Monaco Grand Prix 2019 Weekend With BookF1

star

My wife and I enjoyed an amazing weekend at the Monaco Grand Prix. The tickets arrived in plenty of time and the views were great. We watched qualifying at Casino Square, which was incredible and watched the race in T1, where there wasn't the best view if the track action but we got brilliant views of the pit lane action. For the best view of the pits and the cars coming around from the swimming pool, you need to be in seats 1 - 10 in T1 from row J upwards. We viewed Fridays free entry action from the swimming pool stand L, where you get a great view of the track and the pits. That said, we wouldn't change a thing from this trip, it was amazing, thank you BookF1.

Plenty of petrol head action

Tickets in Tribune T1 high, gave an excellent view of the pit lane, garages & track. Plenty of noise & action throughout all the races. T.V screen opposite gave perfect view of race on other parts of circuit.

Monaco is an amazing experience!

Offcourse we know that Monaco it is not about overtaking, but what a great ambience! The whole little town goes completely ballistic with a circuit, restaurant, bars, music and a great atmosphere. We booked our tickets on T1 covered, and I need to say that BookF1.com did provide us with the super tickets I had hoped for, just opposite to Red Bull and Ferrari, in front of a big screen to follow the action on the track.

Monaco! Always the best.

Great service as usual from bookf1.com. Tickets and info pack arrived in plenty of time. Really pleased that my tickets in T3 were exactly where I asked for. Thank you! Been to Monaco before and this was one of the best races ever. Had a great view of all the action. Only downside was that spectators were allowed to smoke at their seats! Not very nice for non smokers and surely a safety issue. Nothing to do with your company but perhaps you can get a message through. I tried to politely complain and just got a shrug!

Great F1 Experience

Great service from F1 bookings and great seats although our view of Ricciardo's pit was obscured by the screen. I gave one piece of feedback re the 'no glass' rule not being confined to alcohol (my daughter and I had perfume bottles confiscated) and received a prompt response from F1 Booking about expanding the pre race guidance. Overall a great experience and will definitely rebook.

Moinaco Grand Prix 2018

This was a 60th birthday present for my partner and initially I didn't have a clue about Formula 1, what tickets to book, or where to get them from and it took a while to google lots of information in terms of where to stay, where the best places where to get tickets from. Book F1.com came up as a reputable agency. I took lots of advice and as I wanted my partner to experience the race days from different view points so I booked Tribune B (Monte Carlo Casino) for the Thursday (there were no seat reservations for this day so you just sit anywhere), Friday was free entry to the track so you could sit in any Tribune, Saturday was qualifying day so I booked Tribune K (Low) which faces the harbour and on the race day itself on Sunday I booked Tribune T (High). As I had booked tickets for Saturday and Sunday I also received 2 passes to 'walk the pits' on Friday afternoon from 2.30pm - there is no F1 action on the Friday so when all the non F1 racing was finished you can also walk the track. You do not have to book the same Tribune for Saturday and Sunday in order to receive the pit pass - I was initially told you had to do this and it clearly was incorrect as I did receive the pit passes even though I had booked different Tribunes for the weekend. This was our first experience at a Grand Prix and it was pretty amazing. As my partner is the one who is the enthusiast I asked him where he thought the best view point was and although he thought Tribune B was iconic as you face the Monte Carlo Casino, he actually thought Tribune K was the best in terms of seeing the most of the track. Tribune T was ok as it did face the pits and I paid extra to sit high up but to be honest, we hardly saw the cars on the track because we were so far away. Would not book Tribune T high again. Would just go with the K Tribune as the atmosphere facing the harbour was pretty good. Through my research I also discovered 'The Paddocks' - this is where all the drivers mobile homes are and where all the media hang out. You can walk right down alongside the paddocks as it's on the circuit and you can stand in front of your favourite teams pad in the hope you see your favourite driver. I wasn't that bothered but my partner was interested so we hung out there for a while. We also stayed in Nice and travelled into Monaco each day by train. We booked an apartment through 'Pebbles Nice' - this is an agency which manages apartments for private owners. Really reasonable prices and a lot cheaper than staying in a hotel and definitely cheaper than staying in Monaco! We flew from Newcastle to Heathrow and then onwards to Nice - just £350 return for both of us ( I did book the flights around 5 months in advance though through British Airways - very generous luggage allowance too). There is an airport bus No.98 which costs 6 euros per person and will pretty much drop you off close to anywhere you need to be in Nice. I made it into a holiday and we arrived 4 days before the racing started and as I write we are still here! Bus service No.12 run regularly from the Promenade Des Anglais to the Nice Ville railway station for just 1.50 euros. The train from Nice Ville railway station runs regularly to Monaco and they put on extra trains on the racing weekend - takes around 20 minutes from Nice to Monaco. The cost each way is 4 euros. We took some really good advice and went to the railway station in advance and booked all the return railway tickets that we needed for each race day from the ticket office. This way, there was no queuing up at the station on race days. Getting back to Nice from Monaco on race days was ok too - the trains were pretty full and the final race day was challenging! However, the Monaco police were clearly used to this and at the end of the actual race day, they only allowed around 300 people at a time into the railway station at Monaco - they timed it so a train was arriving as people descended onto the platform. Pretty impressed at the organisation of it all to be honest. Also, when you get off the train at Monaco all the Tribunes are well sign posted in the railway station itself. We went up the day before all the racing started just to check everything out and I'm glad we did as we were able to walk the entire track given it is set up in the middle of a city so all the roads were still open. Amazing experience for a novice - my partner was thrilled to bits and we have fallen in love with Nice, Monaco and Cannes. You can actually get to Cannes from Nice on the No. 200 bus for just 1.50 euros too and you can also get to Monaco on the No.100 bus for 1.50 euros and the views are just spectacular on that route. However, don't go to Monaco by bus on race days - definitely go by train! The Book F1 team were great and talked me through all the ticket options - they arrived in good time before we travelled and there were no issues at all when presenting them at the different Tribunes. Great experience all round - and yes, we are definitely going back next year :-)

Monaco 2018 Fantastic experience

Requested tickets high up in grandstand T1 for Saturday qualifying - and that is what we got -we were in row W only a few rows from the top on the more comfortable plastic seats (also offers some shade from the sun). Much better view than i expected - we were opposite the Force India pit and could see all the top teams pits which was really good for qualifying. Even better we were in the right place for practice 3 when Verstappen crashed into the barriers right in front of us! Video screen was easy to see. Food, drinks and toilets under grandstand. Sunday tickets, had requested high row in grandstand O - we got row ZD which was only a few rows from the top. Again, the view exceeded my expectations - good view of the track around the swimming pool, plus you could see a lot of the pits and pit exit (Could also see through to part of the start/finish straight). Also a great view of the boats in the harbour. Bench seating ok. Food, drinks and toilets under grandstand. Good view of the parties on the boats at the end of the race! Overall a really fab weekend. Great tickets and service from Book F1 - will definitely be using them again.

Great Atmosphere! Great Seats!

Book F1 are always really helpful, tickets were despatched a couple of weeks before the event. T1 are the best seats on the track in my opinion, great views into the pit lane and a little coverage from the grandstand against sun or rain. Under the grandstand you have toilets and refreshments. Allow yourself enough time of getting the train into Monaco and expect queues to get the train back out again.

an experience to remember

fantastic seats with a great view of the pit lane as well as the circuit. Access to the circuit was easy, direct train from Nice. Event staff were very helpful and extremely pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble.

Not the best views of track

Thursday practice we'd booked stand T, we got T1 which had good views of the pit entry, but poor ones of the pits themselves. T2 and T3 would be better for that. Tip - you can walk around the back of the buildings behind the paddock, and get all the way to one of the paddock entry/exit points. We got photos and autographs from a few drivers and TV presenters. Not very busy there, less than 20 fans waiting for people to come out; most of them Italian which meant the British TV presenters had no pressure and were happy to stop for a chat! (Thanks Natalie and Simon, made our day!) Friday: you can sit anywhere. We chose stand A1 at first: great view of turn 1/ St Devote (very close to the action) but no TV screen, so we then moved to K2. We were able to see the big screen, but difficult to read anything without binoculars. We could see the chicane in the distance, and tabac up close, plus the entry to the swimming pool. In the afternoon we headed over to Place d'Armes (called the "MGP Live" area") where drivers were interviewed and signed autographs for the crowds. Get there 2 hours before the first interview to be at the front! Then we did the pit lane walk (enter at the pit exit, you need to show a Saturday or Sunday ticket). Not too much to see as most teams were blocking their garages with tyres. Happened to pass as Haas drivers were signing autographs, but didn't wait around for other drivers. Very difficult to walk past the Ferrari and Mercedes garage: the walkway is only about 4 people wide and it was crammed with people hoping to see the top drivers. Then we did a track walk, took about 2 hours to do a lap, taking photos at every corner. Saturday we were in stand N. Disappointing view. Could see the entry to the swimming pool, and the start of the exit. TV screen was a bit far away, and all the crashes at the swimming pool exit were hidden by other stands. I reckon stand P would have been better, or the one inside the track next to the swimming pool (L maybe?). Sunday we'd asked for stand K, and had enjoyed it on Friday. We got K3, which was rubbish. Too far round to see the chicane. K1 and K2 are obviously good, K3 to K6 aren't so great.

Monaco F1 2017

The grandstand seats were great, Ashley was very helpful in getting them in the shade as my husband has had skin cancer on his face, I can't thank her enough. The day was perfect for all of us and was the first day of a cruise so a real high point of the week. Many thanks to all !

Fantastic weekend

Great weekend, unfortunately the security checks were very slow therefore missed the start of some races on qualifying day. Staff didn't really know what they were doing. We were is A section for race day, these were the best seats we have sat it as you can see lots.

Monaco 2017

We just went for the Sundays races. Picked the best stand to be in for the view of the put lanes, Screens and importantly shade. Sitting at the top we were I. The shade all day so didn't getting totally baked. The spectator experience getting around Monaco from Gare SNCF was excellent. Very well signposred from the platform all the way to the stand. Very friendly stewards and all in all a great atmosphere.

Great trip to Monaco GP 2017

BookF1 were excellent throughout - communication and service was thorough, professional, and warm. They secured us great seats high up in T1 for our first trip to the Monaco GP, under (very limited) cover and with a fantastic view of the pits. An all-round wonderful weekend, and can highly recommend BookF1!

Important Info

Provisional Date

The date of this race is based on the provisional calendar. Usually these dates do not change but this cannot be guaranteed until the final calendar is released towards the end of the year. If the date of the race does change, it will not affect the validity of any tickets you purchase for the event. If possible, we recommend booking any accommodation and flights/travel on a flexible basis or waiting until the calendar is confirmed.

For extra peace of mind, you can take out Booking Protection cover at the checkout and receive a refund on your booking including service and delivery fees if the event date changes and you cannot attend on the new date.

Child tickets

Children aged between 6 to 15 years old are entitled to free General Admission or Grandstand entrance on Thursday (a ticket is still required) and a 50% discount on ticket prices for the Saturday and Sunday. Please note that this is not applicable for hospitality packages.

The organisers ask that spectators do not bring children aged 5 and under because of the high noise levels. However, at parent's discretion, children aged 5 and under can enter grandstands free of charge without a ticket if they sit on a parent's lap.

Identification may be required on the day for child ticket entry.

Disabled Tickets

A wheelchair-accessible area at the circuit is managed directly by l'Association monégasque des handicapés moteurs. Please contact us if you require more information. The association has advised they expect passes for this area to be available from January 2020.

Additional

All tickets for the Monaco Grand Prix are available for individual days (Thu, Sat or Sun) and grandstand tickets can also be bought as two-day (Sat-Sun) or three-day (Thu-Sat-Sun) packages. There is no Formula 1 track activity on Friday 22nd May and access to the venue is free.

Tribune L Low is located in rows A-D, Tribune O Low are rows A-J and Tribune T Low are rows A-M - all other rows in these stands are classified as High. Please be aware that views from lower rows are more likely to include safety fencing. Tribunes L High and T High have views into certain areas of the pits. Unlike previous years, Grandstand K is not split into High and Low rows. The organisers have advised this is due to the increased attractiveness of lower rows following improvements to the port.

Pit Walk

As in previous years, a pit walk will take place on Friday afternoon. This will be available for customers who have booked 2 or 3 day tickets in the same grandstand. These ticket holders will receive "pit access" tickets automatically with their tickets.

General Admission

The 'Le Rocher' General Admission area offers hillside viewing and the natural rough and in some places steep terrain may not suit all spectators. We recommend arriving early in Le Rocher to get the best viewing experience as the area can become very crowded particularly on Sunday.

Gold and Silver Packages

A limited number of Gold and Silver tickets are available in select grandstands and offer spectators access to privileged seating areas within their chosen grandstand. Fans that purchase Gold and Silver tickets as part of two-day (Sat-Sun) or three-day (Thu-Sat-Sun) packages will also be eligible for additional benefits, namely pit walk access and a piece of merchandise. Please click on each package to see what's included.
