This year's Formula E Berlin ePrix will once again return to Flughafen Tempelhof Airport Circuit, with it's enormous main terminal which is among the largest listed buildings in the world! This iconic location, that was once a symbol of freedom during the Cold War, has been transformed into an events centre and outdoor park. It is now home to a variety of events from fashion shows and music festivals to the ePrix, providing motor racing fans with an electrifying experience!
Drivers will take to the former runway and battle for pole position through the 17 twists and turns of each 2.5km lap. The twisty layout and relatively short distance of each lap really makes this race one for the fans, there is great visibility wherever you are on the track, and it's no secret that in motorsport the corners are where the action happens! Each race lasts 45 minutes + 1 lap and the course runs under the canopy roof of the historic Tempelhof Airport terminal from turn 13 to turn 14 and then again during turn 17.
