Brno overall

Firstly, I would like to mention that the Brno circuit has very nice grounds and it seems to be well looked after with many improvements on the way. Definitely one to visit ! What I liked: Ability to walk wherever possible. Food stalls with variety of local products. Police presence was very good and the traffic seemed to be well managed. Toilets for free, out door porta loos not in too bad conditions even at the end of races, outdoor portable hand wash sinks with soap and shower available. What I did not like: Massive queues to get in and people jumping queues all the time, I believe this could be much better managed by the event management company. Public stands with restricted access all 3 days ( would have liked to be able to check out all stands on Friday and Saturday with ticket holders only access on Sunday as possible in the UK and else where).Top end car park trying to charge double the price (200kc per day instead of the 100Kc at the main car park).Far too many scans/checks of the ticket whilst inside (appreciate they may have been necessary but would have liked to have received a ticket holder pouch with a neck strap with the ticket or at least been advised that it would be good to take one with me).

Very good. Very good. Very good.

We were three people that we went to the race. We were all food poisoned.

Great track...great city.

Went in T4 last time which was fine but this time decided to buy some camping chairs and sit in area C on the grass bank which has the best views and atmosphere. It's also close to the food and clothing stalls. Free bus to the track from town which is great. Half an hour walk from the bus stop to area C. Love this track and Brno is buzzing on Friday and Saturday.

Amazing

The race weekend was amazing. However I feel it would be beneficial to have clearer explanation of where certain ticket holders can go? Also at the end they asked us to walk through a particular exit which was through the bush lands up massive hills in the rain it wasn't a good mix! Overall was a great experience and would love to do it again!

Czech Moto GP

Purchasing tickets was easy and without worry. Arrived safely and in plenty of time along with an email advising of impending delivery. Shame about the weather race day but that's out of your control. Loved the races, circuit as good as ever. Plenty of stalls and choice of food. Great mini Moto get together on the Thursday.

Trip to Brno

The rain put a real dampener on the weekend – it made things difficult to see with all the umbrellas. The queues to the circuit were massive and we were re-directed to farm land for parking some 2km away – a long walk in the rain! We set off from Vienna at 6am and still missed the first moto3 race! Seeing Cal win the Moto GP made the travel and the rain worth it!!

Good weekend for Brits

Need to research track before buying tickets. Sitting on bank uncomfortable and miserable in the rain. Unsure how gold tickets were an advantage if any. Car park was awash on sunday. The atmosphere was good but be aware flares can go off very close to you and the smoke is choking.

Parking chaos

Great weekend apart from the rain on sunday which changed parking into glastonbury field making it impossible to park(good luck to farmer who took few quid for parking on his field on saturday not so lucky on sunday, probably cost him more in fuel try to pull all the people out from the field with his tractor),temporary parking was a joke, disorganised police trying to park people on streets, purchased the gold ticket which was as good as toilet paper and they wouldnt let me go to gold carpark, after over an hour on bus i have seen people driving their cars to gold car park?wtf?not happy,...great viewing areas, great weekend(apart from parking...)

Brilliant Weekend!!

First time at Brno and what an experience. Flew to Prague and caught train to Brno. Hotel just outside city centre which made fro peace and quiet at night. Taxi to track and back each day (less than £20.00 each way which split nicely between 4 of us). We walked around most of the circuit on the Friday and decided that area C would give us the best view and most excitement and we weren't wrong seeing 4 corners and a straight. This was a large grass area on a slope which was hard on the bum. Many were on fishing/camping chairs or foam mats which helped I'm sure. Plenty of places to buy merchandising and the food and drink was pretty well catered for with quality burgers/ hotdogs and chips at very reasonable prices. Toilet facilities were good when you could get to them!! Exiting the circuit on race day was a bit of a nightmare as most were exiting under the track to main entrance. this took some 30 mins but eventually we got through. Weather was exceptionally hot so hats, suncream and plenty of water worked (although the beer went down well too). An awesome circuit and we were well looked after.

Poor organization

To start of.. there were 3 cashiers open for ticket sale on race day- People were queuing for over an hour. Parking is on a field, without any markings so it took us good 20 min to find our car after the race. It was not clear where are the exits when leaving the car park. Toilets were absolutely disgusting. ..to top it off no soap to wash your hands afterwards. We will definitely not be coming back

Fab weekend, but not good if you don't like walking!

We were amazed at how quickly we got to the car park after our trips to Catalunya and Valencia. We had to pay £5 each day to park, but that included the shuttle bus to the entrance. There were no security checks, so you can take food and drinks in to the circuit, and one guy had a massive water melon, and a 12" kitchen knife to cut it up! We had a great view from the top of the hill in area C, and we were pleased to have a beer at only £1.20 each! The only real shock was after the qualifying session when we went back for the shuttle bus.....only to find out there wasn't one! For some reason, known only to a select few, the X Route buses stop at 14.00, and it is a fair walk to the next stop where you can pick up a different route. We decided to walk back to the car park as it was all downhill, but it took 40 minutes at a decent pace. It was exactly the same on race day, but we were expecting it, so it wasn't a surprise! It's a nice walk through a lovely wooded area, but it wouldn't be so nice if it hadn't been glorious weather. There are rumours that this may be the last Moto GP race at Brno, and that would be a shame, as it is a great circuit. We stayed at the Hotel Prosperita near a massive lake, and it was a 25 minute drive from the track, with very little traffic. The lake was good for swimming, and we had a fantastic stone baked pizza each, and salad, and 2 beers for £12 at a little cafe on the lake edge.
