If you are planning to drive to the circuit you will need to take the A28 and then take the exit at Junction 32 (Assen Zuid). During the event there is a traffic arrangement in place that directs visitors to the race track in the most efficient manner. It is advisable to turn off your GPS and follow the instructions on the signs which will take you to the right parking areas. Please note that parking is available at the circuit free of charge and is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Traffic may be heavy over the race weekend therefore please allow extra time when planning your journey. Please contact us if you require a disabled parking space.
If arriving to Assen by train, regular buses run from outside the main station. These run directly to Assen circuit within 10 minutes, however during event weekend this may take longer so please allow extra time when planning. The journey costs around €1.69 each way plus a 10 minute walk from the circuit bus stop to the Haarbocht entrance at the circuit.
Trains will be running from Amsterdam Central Station to Assen and the transfer takes approximately 2 hours. It is advisable to book your train tickets on your arrival in Amsterdam as the station can get very busy over the race weekend. You can also purchase train tickets in advance on trainline.eu.
