The third of the three stands on the inside of the circuit approaching the famous First Chicane of Monza. Located before the First Chicane, this grandstand follows the curve of the old oval, and as thus is looking right into the second part of the turn. Popular opinion suggests that this stand offers the better view over it's sister stands, 6a and 6b.

What can I see?

These seats offer a fine view of the first hard breaking zone at Monza. It's also the end of the first DRS zone of the lap, where cars within one second of another car can activate the DRS, making the car aerodynamically faster than it's rival - so you can expect to see the results of overtaking and lapping as they enter the chicane. With the cars bunched up in the tight chicane at the start of the race, it can make the opening laps eventful.

What do I get with my ticket?

Alta Velocita 6c is reserved seating on Saturday and Sunday. The circuit operate a roving policy on Friday 4th September, giving you roaming access to all general admission areas and grandstands (with the exception of Centrale). All 3-Day tickets will have access to the Thursday Pit Lane Walk, subject to confirmation.

Monza - it would have been great but for the dis-organisation

Really looked forward to the GP at Monza. Choice of grandstand was great (the first chicane) and the tickets arrived in plenty of time. The racing was great too. However must pass a warning to anyone intending to go next year. The organisation of entry into the circuit by the Italians was shocking. It wasn’t too bad on the qualifying date but on race day it was appalling three staff with security wands checking 000’s of people. We were queuing for two hours to get through and when we got there I wasn’t even sure the wands were switched on. The bag search was just as bad all they seemed interested in was taking tops off bottles of water. All people were doing was taking the tops off them selves and putting the tops in their pockets. What was the point. A great race almost ruined by incompetence.

Monza access was VERY difficult

After arriving early to watch the other formulas it was choatic trying to enter the circuit at Parabolica We waited over an hour for the Qs to move close to the security area - the people here are very small minded and are only interested in taking bottle tops off any water bottles.. When in the circuit they sell them with bottle tops on, so it's a farce

A great 3 days

Had great tickets at 6C. Weather was kind. To get the most from Monza you have to do your homework. We were based in Milan and the commute was hard work. The Z221 bus did the job but it was packed and you had to get streetwise as it was not an 'after you' kind of experience. We found the toilets surprisingly OK after the horror stories but it was only 21 degrees C. The big downer was the queue to get in to the circuit. Italy is a fantastic country and the Italians are amazing people ...but why the need to queue for 90+ minutes - a little embarrassing tbh. This is a 'must see' GP but the lack of effort towards queuing and sorting out simple things like ...'what if it rains' made Monza look a bit silly. I am not sure what 'customer-centric' is in Italian - but the people who put on the Monza GP have no idea what it means!

Great race great venue

Booking was very straight forward and easy. Getting to the track from Milan centrale was also quite easy, 15 mins train and then black line bus with very minimal waiting if your there before 830. There is also a 30 minute walk from the bus drop off to the track. Food and drink are very expensive but that’s to be expected. Was warned about stewards taking the lids off bottles so take some spare in your bags and wipes for the other half has the toilets are appalling.

Fantastic F1 Experience!

Stand 6C was superb. Great view of the chicane where lots of overtakes and incidents happen. Good view of big screen too. We took the train from Milan Porto Garibaldi to Biassono-Lesmo and walked, saving time versus going to Monza station and then queuing for shuttle bus. On sat there is only 1 train per hour with last train back at 8.29. Hence the crowd trying to get the train back on Saturday was chaos. Sun we found ok as they lay on more trains which are much bigger. You can’t take water bottles with lids on through security. Simply put lids in pocket and then put them back on after security.. We didn’t find queues too bad and didn’t have any issues with security. Better to buy a bunch of beer tokens at once to save queuing. Not much queue at Heineken tent once you have tokens. Overall a great experience. Would go again.

Fantastic race, poor facilities

A great battle to watch Hamilton and Leclerc, however the facilities, set up and location was very average.

First Monza experience

Excellent 3 day race weekend. Tickets at Alta Velocita C stand were superb. Loads of action on that first corner in all races. A well organised event and Milan has a great transport system

Racing was excellent, food at circuit and transportation utter chaos!!

We stayed in central Milan (as did thousands of other race fans) and there was no evidence of any extra trains for the weekend and on Sunday it was still a Sunday train service with most trains with only half the number of carriages. We were on the platform and unable to board two trains to be honest it was very dangerous with many nearly falling on to the tracks. It took over two hours at the station to get on a train and we had to go to a different Milan station! At Monza the bus drops you a 40 minute walk from the actual circuit and there are very few stewards to control the crowds - coming back there was no real definition to the bus queue so hundreds tried to jump the queue and whilst the half dozen stewards did very well they were overwhelmed by the thousands trying to get on a few buses. It was like this year was their first year for the organisers, it was pathetic. For nearly £400 at 6C you get a metal bench! Then if you want say a hotdog and chips you have to purchase tokens at one point then queue for your hot dog then queue in a different queue for your chips - it takes forever and no one explains and no one knows which queue is which and there were loads of people cutting in and arguing and shouting, very unpleasant indeed. So be prepared for lots of waiting, don’t bother with the food and take a foam seat! The view from 6C was amazing and there was a large screen opposite as well for replays and other incidents.

Great race, passionate crowd

star

This was my third visit to Monza and had a fanstastic time. Tickets were received on time and customer service at BookF1 were readily available to assist where needed. The roving grandstand option on Friday was great as we sat at Parabolica in FP1 and sat on the inside at turn 1 (Tribune 6C), and saw Ericsson's frightening crash in FP2. For Saturday and Sunday we sat at the 2nd chicane and couldn't believe our eyes as Vettel and Hamilton collided and then Kimi overtook Hamilton for the lead, which saw the Tifosi go wild! Amazing atmosphere, especially the track invasion after the race. Hint: If taking the shuttle bus from Monza station, it will drop you for about a 15 min walk from the Parabolica entrance. We noticed the queue here on all days was horrendous (I've heard up to 90 mins for some on raceday!). Instead, once you get to the Parabbolica entrance queue, turn left, walk an extra 10 mins to the Vedano entrance and you will save yourself an hour getting into the circuit. Overall a fantastic event, and a circuit that oozes history - the old banking alone is a sight to behold. Facilities are no match for modern circuits such as Abu Dhabi, however the passion from the crowd at Monza is rivaled only by Silverstone in my experience. Food/bathroom facilities could be improved compared to other circuits but Monza is a must-do event for any serious F1 fan.

EXCELLENT!!!! Absolutely brilliant!!!

We booked early for the Italian GP 2018 and bought tickets in stand 6C (surely the best stand in the track). We had some of the best seats in the best stand thanks to BookF1.com!!! If I ever manage to go to an F1 race again it will SURELY be through BookF1. Tickets arrived on time via DHL and the website was very efficient in answering my questions!!!!! I would absolutely recommend this site!

Monza is better than Monaco

Just back from a weekend in Monza. Having been to many different grand prix , I find Monza as being the most enjoyable if you love racing, atmosphere and good food. This time we stayed in Monza town which seems convenient but in reality its still an effort to get to the track and your actual grandstand/viewing area but at the same time , its much less hassle than getting in from Milan by train. Wherever you stay you need to allow yourself enough time and in reality that could mean getting to Monza park and still an hour getting to your grandstand if you hit peak time. Despite the inconvenience , the autodromo is such a stunning place that you will forget the walk and queues and just enjoy being there. Tip - bring or buy food , or buy food/beer vouchers first thing so you avoid lunchtime queues for the cash tills. We sat in grandstand 6C , would recommend. Bookf1 service was excellent ,

Bad logistics entering Monza

The F1, GP2, F3 and Porche cup was Very nice races. The handling about rhe vet conditions at F1 qualifyring was very bad. Why didn't they blow away the water from the racecourt instead just waiting. The security check was total crayzy. 4 proppe was checking 50000 sunday and proppe was delayed several hours...too fra shops and Very kong que's. To buy Something to Eat tolk 1 hour...

Monza 2017

6th successive year at Monza and great service provided again by Book F1 who provided us with seats exactly where we wanted. Best race on the calendar and would strongly recommend to anyone. Pity since the new deal was signed prices at the circuit have gone up 30% and stewards on race day decided to stand on the old circuit to watch the race rather stopping people sitting in the aisles and blocking the exits, ironic after the rigorous security to get in. All in all brilliant place to go, would recommend stopping in Milan and using the superb rail system as noted on the Booking F1 web site.

Monza F1

The organisation of the race and getting to it was better than I expected. This is the 2nd time I have used bookf1.com and both time I have been impressed with their service and speed of ticket delivery. I went to the Spanish F1 earlier this year and when comparing Monza to that, Monza was fantastic – It was easy to get to from Milan by train and the seats were only a 25 min walk form the train station. The facilities at Monza were great, food was reasonable priced and the view of the race from the seat was top notch.

Great track - poor organization

I took us over 3 hours to get from Milan Central Station to our seats at Alta Velocita C While the train to Monza was quick there was a 45 minute wait at the Station before we could board. The black shuttle bus was efficient (it cost 5 euro return) but it did have long queues. On Sunday we paid one extra Euro to go 1st Class - not that we wanted nicer seats but simply because it is at the front of the train and we could get to the front of the long line waiting for the Shuttle Bus.The signage inside the circuit was atrocious. I admit my Italian certainly wasn't up to it but we kept getting sent in the wrong direction by staff even though we showed them our tickets. So - give yourself plenty of time and get directions "double checked". As for the seats - Alta Velocita C is a great spot - lots of overtaking but no cover so we got soaked on Saturday but had a ball on Sunday.

2017 Monza Grand Prix

It was my first (and probably last) visit to Monza. The track and the race were absolutely brilliant, as were the seats I purchased in Stand 6C, the view of the first chicane was outstanding. My race experience though was completely ruined by the complete lack of organisation by the stewards, time to access the event and complete lack of signage to allocated seating! The track is located in Monza Park, an enormous space! after queuing for an hour to get into the park you are faced with a "walk in the park" of about the same time to get to the stands, with the most inadequate signage you could ever imagine. The Italian staff or officials could not have cared less.

Classic venue - poor organisation

Good: fantastic atmosphere, great viewing positions, one of the all-time classic circuits Bad: Italian organisers need to get their act together. Pedestrians should be completely separated from vehicle traffic and police/stewards need to be where they are most needed- not standing around doing nothing. Very frustrating and time wasted in queues.

great track shame about organisation

again Book F1 came up tumps, got requested (Back row) I have been to may races in many countries first visit here since 1982, for a well established race the organisation was rubbish from Milan Central staff un helpful when asked which train to Monza a shrug of the shoulders failed to indicate platform number, at Monza on Friday no indication of buses (OK Saturday) although Saturday bus staff did not know which tickets to take, once at track toilets ok first thing Friday but not touched rest of weekend on Friday stewards insisted we had to be scanned out of the track or we would not b able to get in Saturday so the queue to get out was bigger than to get in yet Saturday we did not have to be scanned out???? (this could go on forever) one of the funniest things was the Steward at the grandstand trying to check the wrong side of he ticket, a steward in the grandstand did good job of stopping people standing up a the front rail then let himself down as when F1 action finished everyone was leaving he stood half way down steps in the middle causing chaos, ( a singer called Mitch Benn does a song call song for Europe based on this experience what he says about the Italians is spot on. I have holidayed in Italy many times and this shower doe not represent Italians elsewhere, just lack of training

Very good weekend

I really enjoyed my time at the Italian Grand Prix, we camped at Camp Monza - next to the first corner and it was absolutely amazing! The race itself was fairly average however, watching Daniel Ricciardo overtake Bottas right in front of me was something special and I will never forget that move. The only complaint I have is with the promoters of the race, a couple that were sat next to us all weekend and one of them lost their race ticket on Saturday. They showed confirmation to the organisers and provided ID but still were told they could not reprint their ticket. Not only that they was made to buy another general admission ticket in order to access the track - I personally believe this is poor as the people were genuine and had proof that they had purchased the ticket. I feel they should have been able to reprint the ticket for them with the proof they gave. However, if you don't lose your race ticket, I can't recommend the Italian Grand Prix enough.
