3-Corner Super Gold provides a view from Red Bull on Friday, Gold 1 (rows 1-12) on Saturday and the Super Gold (rows 1-12) on Sunday.

1st ever F1 weekend, other half bought us the 3 corner super gold option, great seats every day. Red Bull stand great for last corner, Gold 1 right on the start/finish line for quali and post quali interviews, Super Gold for race Sector H row 8 great view of Alfa, McLaren, Racing Point and Haas pit stops and under cover. Atmosphere great every day, mostly Poles, Dutch, Finns that we spoke to. Food / drink at the circuit not as pricey as I thought - cheaper than the airport - 1000 HUF around £3 for a Heineken (pint or can). Food consisted of massive sausages, chips, Langos (deep fried pastry with garlic sauce and parmesan) and enormous meat filled sandwiches. Toilets behind the Super Gold in the Fanzone are surprisingly clean. Take sun cream and a poncho - we got rain and blazing sun. Getting there: We were staying at a hotel in Buda - we bought a 7 day (3 day also available but we were there for the week) travel card (around 13 quid) - gets you on buses trams metro and trains within the city - take the M2 Metro to Ors Vezer Tere - right at the end of the line - the queue for the free fan bus was massive even on Friday. Go under the subway to the train station take the train to Kerepes (travel card covers some but 250 HUF ticket at office or on train for the remainder) free buses to circuit coincide with trains arrival. Getting back is trickier, queue for free bus to train station was same Q as for free bus to city. Once you reach the gate it split and got a bit chaotic no real queue control for which bus is which. Made it back to train station eventually. Day two and three we used sat nav on phones and walked to station - took around 40 mins slowish walk through the campsites and quiet country roads (it was baking hot) - other people walked to another station after Kerepes and got there quicker. Compare that to an hour in the queue for the free bus (on the practice day - race day way worse) and you decide. Talking to other folk they'd paid 30-40 euros to get to the circuit but were being quoted 90 to get back on race day. A supposed one off birthday treat is almost certainly going to be repeated next year.

My partner is a huge F1 fan, but has never experienced a race in person. As it happened, the Hungarian Grand Prix fell on a special birthday, so we made our way to the Hungaroring for the SuperGold experience. Great seats, thankful for the canopy as it was **HOT** that weekend. Great view of the race, loved the experience. Tickets came quickly and comms from BookF1 helped us negotiate the travel arrangements (including a last minute bus stop change). Getting on and off site via the free buses was very easy. Only quibbles are about the racetrack itself: SuperGold entry is up a particularly steep hill, so bear that in mind on a hot summer day. Also, the track's marshalling left a bit to be desired - their security was letting in all kinds of General Admission ticket holders into our stand until a couple of older, more experienced marshals came to turf out the people without the correct tickets. Getting out of the racetrack was a bit of a wait in a huge crowd, but facilities were fine and prices were pretty good for our UK pounds. Would definitely go to Budpest again and thanks for helping with a very special trip.

We had the 3 Corner Super Gold ticket. Friday - Red Bull - Nice view from the last corner, main straight and down one of the straights in the distance. Saturday - Gold 1 - Good seat at front of grid and opposite the Podium decent view of last corner and main straight. Sunday - Super Gold - Only covered stand but sun can still get through the gap at the back. Good if it rains but there was no danger of that this year. We preferred the view from Gold 1. The facilities behind the main stands were really good compared to other circuits i've been to and the food and drinks on offer were good too. The only negative point was the long wait for a taxi after the race. We were at least 90 mins in the baking heat waiting. The problem seemed to be getting the taxi's out of the compound and onto the VIP road as there were loads of taxi's waiting to pick up passengers.

Excellent race. Taxi to track but horrendous traffic and got out and walked last 2.5k. After race queue for taxi took almost 90 minutes. Other than that very enjoyable day

Great weekend for anyone who loves cars / racing. The Hungaroring is pretty cool, and the access by bus is great - just make sure you know where the pick up point is as we got lost on the first day. My biggest tip is to bring a rain jacket and comfy shoes - the weather on the day of qualifying was horrendous, and there is absolutely no shelter unless you are in the super-gold stand. Also, for anyone who doesn't drink beer, there's no other alcoholic options, although there's plenty of iced drinks, coffees and minerals. The other thing I think would have been really good would have been a radio with commentary. You can see what's going on in the race from the large screens and obviously the track, however a lot of the excitement in the races is due to on-track duels, and you really can't get a sense of that when there's no audible commentary. However, it was a great experience overall, and we had fab seats on the race day overlooking the start finish line, which I'd highly recommend.

Outstanding race, excellent seats and Budapest is a wonderful host city. It was hot hot hot until race day and then the heat was on the track. Good win Sebastian and wonderful to see two Red Bulls on the podium. Seats were a bit too far away from the first turn but did provide excellent views of the podium. Thank goodness for the overhang to protect us from the sun.

Weather was great, which made it a more enjoyable trip, not sure if we would have been saying the same if it was wet (Lots of walking on gravel paths if you get the bus or train) Taxi is the best option although it will cost you around £30 each way (try and book a return trip if possible as queues can be very long, depending on where you wait around the track at official taxi ranks). Food, drink and toilets are readily available at the circuit, although very basic. Not sure that SUPER GOLD is worth the extra expense, it does have a roof cover which is nice if it is too hot or wet, next time we go, I think that the red bull stand or some of the silvers had better views. All in all, a great weekend and Budapest is a GREAT city, which would be well worth a visit, with or without F1 !

An immense experience and a great occasion- a highlight for me was mixing with so many different nationalities. The organisation was not as bad as first feared based on some reviews and the food and drink prices at the Hungaroring were not so bad, especially when compared to UK prices. The workers on site were unfailingly polite in my experience. Very, very, hot- sunscreen/water/beer in that order.

I have been to several circuits and this is definitely the most convenient and accessible -- 20 minutes from City centre by official taxi to a point no more than 5 minutes from the entrance to the ground and the stands -- absolutely fantastic. You also supplied us with the seats I requested, as always -- many thanks.

Couldn't rate bookf1 highly enough. I added in the comment sections whereabouts I wanted to sit and they got the tickets spot on. Notified me when the tickets were being dispatched, emailed me all circuit information prior to the race and tickets came on time. Would recommend buying your F1 tickets with them. Weekend was amazing (Hamiliton won!). Some musts: - Make sure you try and get tickets across from a TV. You'll only be able to hear commentary if you're in the super gold areas - Water is 400HUF for a small bottle whereas super market is normally 90HUF for a 1.5 ltr - Food once you get into the gate is expensive. Hot dog was £15 - There are cheaper food stalls and cheaper (non official) merchandise just outside the main gates - Free bus was okay getting there, be prepared to be standing but it was very easy. Get off at the train station and head down the stairs signs 'autobus'. Just follow the F1 crowd, the bus will say F1. It's about a 10 minute walk once you're off the bus, again follow the large crowd and cars. - Taxi queue was over 2 hours on race day to get out, maybe save up for a helicopter? ;-) - General admission tickets would be fine as there are large hills. On race day the hill was already busy at 8am. So arrive early. - There were lots of seats left in the grand stands from Row 1 - 8. I sat in section U which was brilliant as you have a view of the podium, 3 TVs and could see red bull & Ferrari pits - No radios provided and the TVs went down during F1 qualifying! So ensure you have Internet on your phone with some sort of live feed / radio just incase. This is a must! - 9000 - 10000 HUF for taxi to / from budapest to circuit etc - Our bags only got checked on race day so if your have a few bags of food it should go unnoticed (as long as you don't take the p..) Overall it was a fantastic race with lots of over taking (even though this isn't normally the case) friendly people, great weather and country!
