An amazing sporting experience

This was without doubt the best sporting experience I have had! The atmosphere was superb all weekend, passionate multi national crowd added so much to the Italian flavour of this race and the fact there was a home victory of sorts just heightened the whole event! Will most definitely be back again very soon!

once in a life time experience

First of all thanks to bookf1.com for making and booking and receive the monza f1 ticket great website easy to access information. we recived our booked tickets via email about 3 weeks before the event. Also we received excellent information about the race weekend where to park etc We had already booked but was great to have our choice confirmed by the information in the email. first visit was on the Saturday we went to the qualifying parked on the blue parking at monza football stadium easy to get to and excellent transfer by shuttle bus free with the parking ticket. getting to the track was very well sign posted and was about a 1.5 mile walk to entrance gates security check was quite quick and well organised on the day, we had booked general admission tickets had no problems getting a good view on the ascari straight. on exiting the track after again the shuttle to the parking was well organised. the suday of the race we again parked on the monza football stadium and free shuttle bus. the entrance to the track was difficult due the amount of people entering and the organisation had gone which was evident Saturday it was a bit of free for all to get to the security cues if you can call it that, but once through security getting into the track was easy this time we found a great spot just before the start and finish straight. although we were clad in Lewis Hamilton gear we had no concerns or hassle from the Italian fans . Overall a great experience

Good time in great place

These were fantastic 3 days on historical Monza circuit, which is situated in the great green park. Please remember you need some time to reach the circuit, but it is really pleasant walk between trees and green fields. On the raceday we needed ~30 additional minutes to go through the security control, but everything was done in a calm and good atmosphere. General admission tickets allowed us to know the circuit, turns and surroundings. I could reccomend this kind of ticket!

Italian GP Experience

I had an incredible time. Extra special as it was my first time experiencing a race live. Would really recommend the off-track activities in the fanzone, as well as the on-track activities. I would advise trying to get there early to avoid the long queues, and bringing your own food. There’s a token system in place but it’s not very clear. Still an enjoyable weekend all the same.

Italian Grand Prix Monza

1. Check the weather and prepare for mud in many parts of monza park, I also prepared by taking a 2mx2m tarpaulin which I could use to cover myself or sit on the wet grass. 2. Cheap foldable chairs or stools as you will be standing for a while especially if you don't want to lose a good spot. 3. Cheap step ladders or even a 6ft painters ladder (as seen on the day) for that higher vantage point and in some parts of the circuit unobstructed photo opportunities as monza has quite a bit of fencing separating the track. 4. It driving go to gate D via lesmo Corner, there you will also find the green parking area, be advised it costs €30 to park on race day fot the entire day though, parking opens at 0400 hrs. 5. Check your electronics, had no issues with camera and spare batteries, power banks are not allowed inside. 6. Printed tickets and e-tickets can be used, managed to misplace my printed tickets on qualifying and was able to get the QR code scanned at the gate and security staff recognised your pdf on your mobile device. 7. Although online searches advised on public transport as the best way to get to the circuit do yourself a favour and hire an alfa romeo giuletta and drive in Italy! 8. Get there early and get a good spot, general admission offers free seating stands but they do go quickly so make sure you have a packed lunch, or buy some food from one of the food stands as it will mean sitting down for hours, there will be others races on though like gt2 to keep you entertained. 9. Water bottles are not allowed in with the tops on so buy them inside, some vendors give it to you with the top off and others with the top on. 10. Get an early flight, lake como is an hour away from monza! 11. The park closes at a certain time, find out prior so you don't get locked in like me lol although I was heading to gate D but the main entrance is open and not that far on foot to the green car park, also once you exit the main entrance and get onto the street you get some bars and great little pizza places. 12. For the last laps head to parabolica, they open the gate for the amazing track invasion, if you suffer from claustrophobia or any similar phobias then avoid heading towards the podium as it will be extremely packed with people!

Well...no.

Ok

Great crowd, muddy venue, long wait for entrance, crazy expensive food and drinks.

Run like a true Italian event!

This was an amazing event from my point of view but a real struggle sometimes with the way it was organized. Firstly getting there we trained it from Milan to Monza station then had to get a shuttle bus to the track which cost 5€ each...u then walk about a km to the main entrance which was great as there are merch stalls and food and drinks stalls all the way along. We all bought hats for our respective teams which were quite a bit cheaper then the merch on the inside. Now getting near the entrance was the easy part as it then took an hour to actually get through the entrance as the crowds where huge and there system of getting people in was not very efficient. Once in the atmosphere was amazing...my only regret was not grabbing a spot at the start of the parabolica which which would of been perfect to watch the race...we grabbed food which took a while but was quite entertaining with the dudes serving having plenty of personality. We then walked the inside of the track which was quite muddy due to alot of rain that night...not finding any great spots to watch the race (inside Ascari was good but hard to see) we then walked back and found a spot just past the finnish line which was brilliant and stayed there to the end. Jumping the fence and running the main straight was a dream come true with the tifosi which topped the day off. If u are an f1 lover u wont b disappointed but if u are going for the experience then take it as it comes...plenty of lines, typical italian chaotic organisation and alot of walking, and i mean alot. I loved it and will remember the day i had there for ever especially with a Ferrari win 👌

Monza 2019

Excellent atmosphere. This was our second time at Monza and enjoyed it very much. We travelled there on the day from Lake Como and to avoid the crush at Monza station pre-booked the train to Biassono Lesmo at the top end of the circuit. However we were told on the day that there were problems on this line and were redirected to Monza station which was chaotic and added another hour on to the journey, not to mention an extra 10 euros for the bus to the circuit and the inevitable half hour walk.

Not as expected

Although exited to visit Monza Autodromo, it has been an overall negative experience. Poor administration (large queues), general admission ticket almost useless since race track is generally higher in terms of level to spectating zone, poor control at the entrance, even spectators without a ticket were able to enter the park area.

fabulous day in Monza

The whole experience was pleasant: ordering the tickets, feedback from staff who answered my questions promptly and the painless process of receiving the tickets. We had a spectacular day in Monza - our very first F1 experience - and will definitely come back for more!

First formula1 race

Race was very good, lots of food and drink facilities around. Could do with more WC facilities. Also general admission areas not very well sign posted, as a first time experience would recommend to book seats.

Great atmosphere, terribly organised!

Got GA ticket. I think it was worth every euro. The atmosphere were amazing especially after CL16 win. To get to track was the worst. Not much information, lonng long waits, disorganised. Entrances staff were too few. No water in the track. 1.5 eur for 500 ml is too much. And beer 7 eur for 400ml-extortion. ADD MORE SIGNAGE AND REDUCE PRICES OF DRINKS!!

Fabulous but stay in Monza

Great weekend, found track hard to navigate which could be made so much better by simply adding “you are here” on the maps around the circuit. Public transport to/from was infrequent and a free for all, it took over 4 hours to get back Milan on Sunday.

Fantastic Monza!

Had a great day at Monza qualifying for Italian Grand Prix. We purchased general admission tickets a few weeks before the event. Got the train to Monza then the Shuttle bus to the track. Had to queue around 30 mins for the shuttle but great value at £5 euro return. Taxis are super expensive so I would avoid. Lots of areas to watch the action. Watched free practice from Ascari curves and qualifying from the inside of Parabolica. Plenty of places to buy food and drink but it gets very busy later in the day. I recommend spending sometime chilling out in the fan zone. Ferrari on pole so the Italians were very happy! Overall a great experience. BookF1 made it all very easy.

Temple of speed on a budget

We bought general admission tickets and went for Saturday afternoon and Sunday. The experience itself was amazing and you can't beat the atmosphere of Monza. The park around it is beautiful. Shuttle bus to and from the circuit was very efficient and frequent. From Milano, take 2 hours plus on race day. There is plenty support races to come early on Sunday and get good seats. The only issue was at the entry on Sunday, where there were literally 2 people checking tickets of thousands trying to get in. Everyone was really nice however and I would definitely recommend this Grand Prix to anyone who is considering.

Terrible organisation !!

It was absolutely horrendous and there is no way we would return to Monza. In fact we would never buy general admission again after this experience as the areas to view were so poor. Firstly the signage is appalling and even though we asked many stewards we struggled for ages to find somewhere to see the race. I’m not talking about a great view, just a view!! The ground was so muddy with massive puddles that everyone had to walk through . No paving had been put down even though the forecast was wet . Everything very expensive and the transport to and from the circuit was terribly organised even though u made it sound so easy!! We ended up having to walk back to the train station which takes an hour due to a lack of shuttle buses. I wish I didn’t go actually. That’s how bad it was. So disappointed.
