From Bronze 2 you will see the cars come round through Turn 5 in to Turns 6 and 7.

Book f1.com excellent service & communication couldn’t do enough for me. 5 stars for me but the campsite we stayed at CAMPING 1 was horrendous 3 toilets for whole site horrible & filthy excrament on walls urinals over flowing, showers was like Cold War delousing chambers, campsite was just free for all music blasting till 4.30 am security non existent. 5 stars for bookf1.com & I have no problem buying tickets next year for spa & Monza.. What a special track Hungaroring.

I bought Bronze 2 tickets and went Saturday / Sunday + At most points around the circuit you can see multiple corners + Cheap for a European race - My Bronze 2 seats were in section B and are arguably worse than General Admission, therefore I didn't watch the race from my seats and went to Bronze 2 section A and General Admission - No off circuit entertainment however the tight racing schedule means there is little downtime between races Bring plenty of food and water as the trackside food is a lot more expensive eg 3000 HUF for a Gyros instead of 600 HUF in the city, 0.5L is 700 HUF instead of 100 HUF

The organisation is really poor. There's almost none information in English. We we given a wrong information from a marshal about what was the best way to get the train back to Budapest and ended up walking about 6 kilometers. Much longer than the usual long walk that is a long long 2 to 3 km. There should be shuttles to transfer people from the train station to the main entrance at least!!!! There was no information that for those whom bought the 3 days tickets the train was free and 90% of us only found out about this in the last day . The race is far too early for this time of the year in Budapest!!!! the temperature was over 35 degrees and watch at least the main race event direct under the sun is inhuman and show no respect to the viewers who can not afford the gold grand stand. This should start not before 4pm at least!!! I would definitely back to Budapest as it is a beautiful city and very affordable but would never back to a race there. This is a shame for the organizers.

Loved the Hungaroring, fantastic view from our seats (Bronze 2), saw incidents in every race including Hamilton going off on the first lap. Speeds are slow at the chicane but a lot of action. Facilities at the track aren't bad, a lot of places to eat and drink, consequently no queues and I have to say the food was the best I've ever eaten at any track I've ever been to (paprika chicken kebabs!). Toilets were also very good, lots of them and clean. We stayed in central Budapest and public transport up to the track is pretty good but if you use a taxi make sure you use one of the official F1 taxi firms (names are published on BookF1, may change from year to year) they cost half of what a non F1 taxis cost. It's also easy to get to the track by train (we did on pit walk and practice day). One tip, if you're along the pit straight use Mogyorod station, if you''re on the other side of the track as we were use Szilasliget station (the stop before Mogyorod), oh and the walk form the station to the track is all uphill and about 30 minutes! Great atmosphere at the track, very cosmopolitan with most of the population of Finland in attendance, most drunk, all sunburned, all friendly. All the time we were there it was scorching (except the morning before the race) so make sure you have plenty of suncream, it was very, very hot. Tickets arrived in plenty of time as I've come to expect from BookF1. Great race, great weekend.

Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, the down side was that no matter what mode of transport we took whether it was the free bus or approved taxi, there was a very long hike up hill over uneven terrain to get to the bronze section. We took a taxi back after racing on sunday evening, the taxi displayed the official taxi logo and we were charged over double. We will definitely be visiting F1 again in the future.

Lovely weekend and no tjust because Ferrari did well and Sebastian womn the race. As a Tifosi I am not biased! Access to the track was easy and straight forward. Well sign posted from the city centre as I drove down. It only takes 20 mins. Parking was in abundance and easy, costing HUF2000 with local carparks not teh F1 car parks. Parked next to my entry gate to the rear of the circuit and walked 5 mins to get to my seat - awesome. Takes me 45 mins at Spa from the car park to my seat - on a good day when its not raining! Food and drink in abundance with a German/Bavarian/Austrian bias I have to say! If you want official F1 merchandise teh shos are all near the grandstand or last corner on the track which wil take you at least 1 hour from teh Bronze stands. In the 35 degrees C heat it was no joke, but worth it in the end. Been here before. I love Budapest, the track and I will be back again!

We're still recovering from the weekend, as we write, but it was superb. The race itself was an absolute thriller, but we've left the Hungaroring massively impressed. The ease with the whole weekend went was unlikely anything we've had at a grand prix. We stayed in a plesant hotel, 2 miles away and walked in and out. No hassle, good crowds, but never difficult to reach services or amenities. Prices in the circuit are inflated, compared to the rest of Hungary, but what you would expect to pay in the UK (pint of draught beer about £2.50 ish) Initially it wasn't on our radar as a "classic" track, it just fell well with holidays, but we've no hesitation in booking again, we're seriously considering making it a regular visit. We also went on to spend a week in Budapest, and its an incredible city :) First class service again from bookF1, thanks!

That was my first grand prix. Like the first time I had positive emotions, especially when I saw the almost cars. The sound of the F1 cars was ok, but when they emerged from the GP2 cars, you could not sit in the stands without ear protection (I imagine sounding V8 engines ...)

Only issue was the bronze 1&2 on the layout on back of ticket was the opposite way around at the circuit itself.

Hi this is my fourth Hungarian Grand Prix and once again what a great weekend, the city is beautiful and the tickets at Bronze 2 were great. The facilities inside the circuit were good but outside the circuit the facilities were nil, this according to the locals is due to the Prime MInister not really wanting the Grand Prix so he stopped the locals from putting bars outside the arena along with the music tents and food halls. This is a shame because they added atmosphere from Thursday night through until the Sunday after the race, but as I said great weekend in a great city with good tickets from book F1. Thank you once again will be booking for next year.

What a great race with so many Tension and the right winner! Short ways, near parking areas...fantastic atmosphere The only thing that we missed is a second videosreen in front of Bronze 2!

I Think it's something Wrong with the bronze1 and bronze2 tickets, when you see at the backside you Can see that B1 is B2 and B2 is B1.

The race weekend was brilliant. Decided to go for cheaper seats this year and aviod the paddock area and we were glad we did. The views saw the cars all the way from turn 3 to 6 (the chicane). The pass by Lewis on Verne around the outside at turn 4 was amazing! Took the bus from Apad Hid on Friday but decided on a rental car for Saturday and Sunday. Buses were infrequent and the queues? Need I say more! There is ample parking locally for 2,000 Hungarian Florint/day. Facilities at the circuit are adequate, I have seen better at COTA, Yas Marina and Spa but its fine. Not sure some of the reviews I read accurately reflect events around the track or perhaps organisers have improved arrangements in the intervening years. There were taxis and orderly queues after the race and access away from the track was spot on! We were out in about 15mins despite teh long queues.

RECOMENDATION FOR THE CIRCUIT: The only one thing to improve are the seats, are old and uncomfortable. We finally stay in the same place only few meters to the left but in the grass, in the field. FOOD: There are a lot of places to eat almost anything and most of them covered and with chairs and tables. It is one of the best circuits in this section. MY ADVICE: Unless you want to be there early in the morning is not necessary leaving Budapest at 12 p.m. you can be in your seats at 13 p.m. don’t take you many time to be there by car. The organization for the different access is almost perfect.

This was my first time at Hungaroring and I will definitely be going back. My ticket was for Bronze 2. However, it was for the front row which, although close to the track, had two wire fences in the way. Instead I sat on the grass between the Bronze 1 and 2 stands with other grandstand ticket holders and had a great view of corners 4,5,6 and 7. There was also a big screen right in front. For Friday practice there is a bit more freedom as to where you can sit so I went to Silver 4 and had another great view. The food was a bit pricy so take your own. I had heard that there were limits to how much water you could take but no one checked when I got there. There isn't much shelter from the sun in the bronze section and it did get very hot. Getting to the track on the Fri/Sat/Sun was easy on the free bus from Arpad Hid with a 20 minute walk. The buses were busy (be prepared to stand) but I never had to wait long. Three day ticket holders also get free entry to the Thursday Pit Walk. It was great to walk on the track and the pit lane! The drivers are also there to do autographs but it does get really crowded so don't get your hopes up. The only downside was the transport to the circuit on Thursday. It's not very well advertised - the cheapest option is metro (from city centre), train, bus and then a bit of a walk. Avoid the taxi's, they have a reputation for conning tourists - even the official ones. What really surprised me was that the walk to the circuit was not signposted at all! The safest bet is to just follow the crowds. Overall it was a great experience which I can't wait to do again. Budapest is a beautiful city too.

Great weekend, would recommend to anyone wanting to go to their first race. Grandstand bronze 2 tickets - good view of turn 5-6 and chicane but little action on this part of the track. There was however a screen view from these seats which in my opinion is the only way to keep track of what's going on. There were a number of people on the banks within the bronze 2 section, these people had just as good a view. On a general admission ticket you could sit here but only after the race starts as there are people manning the zones before hand only letting in the bronze ticket holders. If in bronze seats and if you want to get on the track at the end of the race you need to walk all the way round the track (follow the route of the cars) to turn 12. This fence will be blocked off but at the end of the race the fence is parted allowing you to get on the track. As far as I could tell this is the only place you can get on the track after the race. From bronze area you will have to leave your seat by around lap 50 to get round in time for the end. Food and drinks prices surprisingly reasonable in the track. Merchandise etc quite expensive. I would recommend everyone going to take a rain cost or poncho just in case, it would spoil the day if you had to sit their soaked. Also perhaps something to dry your seat if it does rain. At the end of the race wherever you exit you will be greeted with taxis but unless at the official taxi point these will cost around 100 euros and you will sitting in traffic a very long time. I would recommend taking your time after the race and making your way to the Main gate where the official taxis are and getting one from there. This will cost around 25 euros to the centre of Budapest. Be warned there is a long queue but like I said take your time stop at one of the many gents and have a drink and wait for the majority of people to go. I would recommend the marriot executive apartments for a hotel slap bang in the middle of Budapest. Close to all the hustle and bustle and walking distance to the Danube. You don't get any frills with the hotel I.e no restaurant or swimming pool etc but this is why it is cheaper than the marriot hotel, but don't take my words as it being a bit shabby. It is immaculately clean and the rooms are huge with a separate lounge, kitchen and en-suite bedroom. There are literally hundreds of places to eat within 100 meters of this hotel. Taxis to and from airport are about 20 euros each way.

Great weekend helped by a superb race. My only advice would be: Supply some information on how to get to each grandstand. When the taxis drop you off at the official taxi point it is unclear how to get to the grandstands, in particular the bronze section. We had to go across a field, through a gap in the hedges etc which we would not have worked out without asking a passer by. Also in the ticket pack it would be useful to know where to go at each venue at the end of the race to give spectators a chance of getting on the track.

Our seats were in row 1 of bronze 2. We sat in them for 5 mins and then spent the rest of the days sat on the grass bank behind the stands. We could not see very much of the track or the cars from our seat s and had to look throug the fence for any view of the action. There was a fence post obstructing our view too and the seats were not clean!
