3rd visit to the Hungaroring. This is a GP worth visiting for Budapest alone. Whilst the city and circuit are both beautiful and a must see if you have never visited before, the race quality is unfortunately decided by the weather. It can be relatively boring and predictable when the sun shines, or spectacular when the rain arrives. You can never be disappointed with Budapest, unfortunately, only Mother Nature can provide an enjoyable race!

It was great experience, except for the walking part to the circuit (from the train stop). As for your service, I'm glad that everything went well. Just an advice, almost every person has a ticket lace (badge holder), which is quite conviniet, so would be great if you start adding them as a gift. Cheers

Well organised, brilliant F1 event! Waited 2 hours in queue for taxi to get back at end of day in blistering heat, all the food/ drink vendors has run out of water by the end of the race!

Yes you would have needed this to work out where to get the free bus from once you get off the train. Someone had been there day before and pointed us and the other street load of race goers in the right direction. They need at least one sign to point u in right direction!

We decided to take multiple trains to Hungary and nearly didn't get out of Munich because of the sad events there but we did and loved the old school track in the shadow of beautiful Budapest. Hot steamy weather together with thunderous downpours gave us Brits a good soaking but we sat in the downpour while most around us scarpered for cover, probably wisely. Racing was good and better than some media miseries gave it. Great crowd of multi nationals and plenty of Brits to share stories with. Another adventure awaits next season..

Budapest is my favourite European city by quite a distance. When you combine this with a fantastic race facility in the hungaroring, you can't really go wrong. Anyone thinking about an affordable race weekend need look no further. My only piece of advice would be to catch the train back to Budapest from the circuit. The queues waiting for taxis were very long, and the train is a much better option.

Great venue. Free bus is easy - we used this on the Saturday. Took a taxi on Sunday to race. easy. Leaving event is harder and taxis can be expensive. One of the great things about silver 5, being further round the track the bar and toilets are quieter. Great view of bends and long straight plus screen on opposite side of track. Don't forget sun cream as there is no shade (and pacamac!)

Well worth a visit. Great value and facilities are excellent.

If you hold the above ticket for future races at this track, you'll want to head towards gate 5 or 6 for entry. But be warned parking can be very intresting! We payed at a non-free carpark near gate 6. And if you decide not to pay you'd have to go ALL the way round. (Stay with free parking) One postive with paying 3000 HUF when it rained and everyones cars were getting stuck in the mud, the local farmer was pulling everyone out. Which made good fun watching to be fair. Also race day be prepaired to exit the race course on the dirty track which goes all the way around a farmers vineyard. You will find the exit but it will get bumpy so if your car is lowered be prepaired to wait a long time to get out. Overall amazing experience!

We decided to book tickets for Hungary after such an awesome time in Barcelona... And we picked the perfect race to go to. Getting to the circuit by the free bus was so easy and we only had to que 10 minutes on the sunday to get a seat back. The walk was shaded and had several small stalls selling beer and water, so cheap and useful in the heat. However the Thursday transport via train was a nightmare, 40 minute hike up an old dirt track with no shade. Doing this in 38 degree heat was horrible. Luckily there was a huge rain storm when we got up to the track which cooled us down. Next time I'd get a taxi on the Thursday. The organisation of staff/security within the circuit was a nightmare. Pretty much no one spoke English when we tried to get in another stand on the roving Friday (which didn't even happen as advertised). Also on the sat and sun they closed off the pathway between silver stands and the F1 village which meant to leave we had to trek up the big Hill to get round. Didn't take long but was inconvenient. But don't let this fool you, I would do Hungary again and again, easily my favourite race I've been to so far. The views in silver 5 were perfect, the cars all slowed down in front of us and gave us a perfect view. The race itself was so hard to keep up with as there were accidents, multiple penalties, safety car & Lewis having the worst luck ever lol. Never been so excited at a race, even a mclaren had a go at overtaking a Ferrari... Never thought I'd see that this year with their performance. Watching them and the toro rosso's make their way up the field was great! There was lots of brits there and everyone we spoke to was so friendly! Had a lovely time in the city centre too and managed to randomly meet a few of the drivers. I would recommend going here at least once and as it's so cheap there's no reason not to! Thanks to book F1 for another great ticket experience :)

Be prepared for a long walk around the perimeter to get to your stand - and that the nearest gate may not be the one they want you to use - we went to Gate 5 but were sent back to Gate 6. Plenty of refreshments in easy reach - even free drinking tap water. Special rate taxi was great for getting us there but had to queue for 90 minutes for the return taxi (which then got us back to our hotel in double quick time).

Fantastic seats for the price directly in front of a TV Screen. As they are grandstand tickets you have access to all the general admission areas and so are able to move around and get different views of the track throughout the race weekend. Easy access to the bar/food stalls/toilets which are located directly behind the grandstand. The drinks are reasonably priced but food is expensive for Hungary - approx £10 for a hotdog. It was around 36 - 38 degrees so bring a hat and plenty of suncream as the grandstand is not covered. We used taxis to get to the track for a fixed price of 9,900 HUF (approx £30) from Budapest city centre which between four people isn't too bad. The free bus back to Budapest on race day was a bit of a free for all but the buses are frequent and so did not end up waiting too long. Budapest is a great city - lots to see and do and really good value. All in all we all had a great time, particuarly as Lewis won, and would strongly recommend to anybody attending the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Excellent weekend hot temperatures nearly 40C all weekend!! The catering at the track is good value not over priced which makes a nice change lots of places to hide from the sun and cool down. Recommend taking a Heli trip again very reasonable priced. There are lots of good places to watch the race from even without grandstand seats, good views of most of the track from anywhere, but get your pitch early! Pitty the Start/finish straight is all boarded off so cant really see down to the track when walking past on the way in, why don't they make it out of clear perspex so people can at least feel part of things even if they dont have tickets for the stands opposite the pits. Slightly limited track side entertainment, FIA should entice more car manufacturures to have more stands not just merchstands but stands with cars on them like at Barcelona but on the whole the best Circuit I have been to! Getting the free bus back is good, once you understand where it goes from its great not too far to walk it is all down hill thankfully, then getting the metro back to the city centre is a quicker way out than getting a taxi they just que for hours on race day!! Also on race day go in early again taxi/traffic ques are bad! Highly recommend this one for you first go or even seasoned F1 travellers is good far better than expected, similar to if not better than Barcelona for value for money and relative ease if you are staying in Budapest, a magnificent city. You could even just go for the race day2 hour flight from UK, less than 1 hour from the airport to track is probablty better than Silverstone, the Finns are excellent fans good fun load of them there create a great atmosphere even if Kimi isnt winning, has warmer weather and is simpler to do frankley!!! recommend though staying in Budapest a fantastic city for the weekend. A good one for famlies too the men can got to the race track while the women can go shopping or site seeing in downtown Budapest. really is something for everyone, and the cost is very reasonable a £1 goes along way there.

Enjoyable weekend of F1 racing even for someone not fully into Formula 1! Toilets were clean, not many shaded areas however and difficult to find somewhere especially in 41 degree Heat! Food was overpriced inside the circuit but generally drinks were reasonable.

this is the best cicuit to get too.free bus from arpad bridge made everything so easy, the seat in siver 2 was brilliant good views of the circuit, would go again as Budapest is beautiful

I must tell you that your part (booking and tickets) was done perfectly!!!!! Organizer (Hungaroring team) was also very correct and helpful. But the traffic on Sunday was really bad (on the day of race) and organisation of parking is bad.Ekstremly for the invalids (as i am). Organiser has to do more and better. But i am hoping to return next year! Anyway!
