Descrizione

The second of the three stands on the inside of the circuit approaching the famous First Chicane of Monza, Grandstand 6b offers a view of the entrance of the corner.

What can I see?

These seats offer a fine view of the first hard breaking zone at Monza. It's also the end of the first DRS zone of the lap, where cars within one second of another car can activate the DRS, making the car aerodynamically faster than it's rival - so you can expect to see the results of overtaking and lapping as they enter the chicane. With the cars bunched up in the tight chicane at the start of the race, it can make the opening laps eventful.

What do I get with my ticket?

Alta Velocita 6b is reserved seating on Saturday and Sunday. The circuit operate a roving policy on Friday 4th September, giving you roaming access to all general admission areas and grandstands (with the exception of Centrale). All 3-Day tickets will have access to the Thursday Pit Lane Walk, subject to confirmation.

Amazing experience worth every peny

star

I attended the 2019 Monza F1 race with a 3 day grandstand pass, seating about 3/4 of the way up on Grandstand 6B. What an experience! The first corner sees cars arriving at an incredible, mind bending, speed and slamming on the breaks to take the first turn, and what a sight! Would highly recommend, easy access to all gates from here, grea action, food and toilets nearby and if you run down after the race you can get under the podium to celebrate with the Tifosi.

Monza 2019 Raceday

Went to Monza for the F1.Train from Bergamo.Free shuttle from Rail Station into the Park. All easy and smooth flowing.Once off the bus we walked to the circuit, which took a while.Obligatory bag search and we are through the barriers.I dont think that our grandstand was particularly well signposted! We had to walk through a wooded area and ended up following others, but we did get there.Massive wait for toilet(20minutes).Great seats for the race.Stand 6B(first chicane).Got on the track at the end,but were in a bottleneck situation exiting.Walked back to the queue for the return bus-absolute nightmare! The `queue`was about 8 people wide-but others ignored the queue and walked past ,to get to the front. There was some complaining at the head of the queue, but the attendant police did absolutely nothing to bring order.Pretty poor show and shame on them!Train journeys back to Bergamo were excellent,as most European train journeys are(in our experience). Not our first F1 experience and I have to say that previous experiences helped in this instance.

Fabulous

Had a fabulous weekend. Only downside was the food! With it being in Italy I thought there would be a huge selection but the option seemed to be some form of meat in a roll. The token system did not work. If there is a token system - the tokens should work at every food/drink stall. Instead, we bought tokens to find out they could only be used at certain stands. It just didn’t work.

Monza Race Weekend

The gp was good, however there is still a lot of improvement to be made. Transportation: We took the train from Milano Porta Garibaldi to Biassono-lesmo station which is closest to the gates of the circuit. Trenord was the train company that was selling return tickets to the event. They advised us that the trains to come back after the race would be running every 10-12 mins. Unfortunately, this was not the case— they were running every 30+ mins, and there were thousands!!! of people in a mosh pit waiting to get onto the trains. Also, there is no communication between staff trying to get people onto the trains, telling us different things, and there was no effort to get as many people on the train as possible. No one checked for tickets/return tickets either because it was uncontrolled chaos. Not sure which form of transport is best- I wouldn’t advise driving unless you park on the outskirts and walk because people who parked closer to the gates would get out around midnight. Getting to the track: We were told that there would be shuttle buses running from the station to your closest gate. This was not the case. There was no shuttle buses, and you had to walk a minimum of 45-60mins. About half of the walking was on the outskirts of the track on paved footing, however the rest of the walking was on flooded, muddy grounds. We were thankful it didn’t rain that day otherwise it would have been an absolute disaster, but it rained at some point during the night and morning so we would recommend wearing proper foot wear even if it doesn’t rain. Seating: our seats were pretty good. We were in section 6b and the view was great. The seating is bleachers with no back rest or padding (not expected but just a warning). And note that there is no shade/covering in this section. Section 8 would probably be better due to being on the outer side of the track and better access to the track post race. Food/Drink: the drinks being brought to the stands were advertised as ‘cold’. This was not the case. Got a warm beer for 8euros which is not pleasant on a hot day. Would recommend getting your drinks from proper stalls. Foods alright. You can bring your own if you remember. No metal water bottles, no caps on water bottles allowed past the gates. Only 500ml water bottles allowed (without cap). Overall, we still had a great gp day, mainly because Ferrari won in Monza, but for the money you spend— it was a bit disappointing. We have spent less at other gps for far less headache.

Good position

The position at the grandstand 6b was good. But poor infrastructure in the circuit and to arrive at circuit spoils the overall experience a little bit. The seating was uncomfortable.

Great Experience in Monza

The weeking in Monza F1 Circuit was great. Advices: Wear good shoes because you will have to walk a lot. On Sunday the Golf course was in action and you couldnt go through and reach the 6B Grandstand directly from San Giorgio Entrance. You had to go all around. So be as early as you can there. You wont be bored ;-)

Awesome experience at Monza

We visited only Monza the race day to reach there we were only able to reach the biasomo-lesmo station and from there we spent about 40 min to reach our destination to alta veloscita. The view is exceptional however to reach the podium was hard to get through and see at least the drivers celebrating, all the rest was incredible

Great race!

Race weekend was great, we stayed near to Milano central station and got a train to the circuit and then a bus on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday a direct train to the Lesmos corner was available so that was even better. The circuit is not fantastically signposted so try and do your research beforehand on where to enter and exit throughout the weekend. Unfortunately, our tickets did not arrive until about 2pm on the Thursday - resulting in us missing the Thursday session of being in the pit lane. This was disappointing as we had rushed to get to Italy after a flight delay from Mexico so that we would be there for the Thursday session (chance to see drivers on Thursdays). So definitely discuss with bookf1 about the delivery as we even payed extra to have them delivered to Italy. Overall though, the seats were fantastic Alta velocita 6b!!!

Gp day amazing organisation poor

Having stayed in Lima when putting how to get to the circuit it gives you several choices one being to take the m1 line then the bus nice to know that we needed an extra urban ticket and on arrival on siesto ourselves and several others got a 35 Euro fine while being met with ignorance we hestained that it may have been our fault we should of read etc....then at the gp after attending Hungary where I know appreciate the organisation. That they put into the event Monza terrible treated like a pack of cattle entering a pen 45 mins to get through. The advice to bring sun lotion etc your met with a big yellow bin to put it in. Food is sub standard so bring your own and drinks are overpriced. If it hadn’t been for the gp making the Sunday we would of been left disheartened!! However it then did take 4 hours to get back to the hotel having stopped for food to let the traffic die down although now the bus we were originally on got diverted to Monza station having to buy another ticket wait in another queue before getting off and onto our metro line. We were seated in 6b for the gp amazing view highly recommend especially if you like to be part of the action but Italian organisation of the event and the fascities surrounding made for a disappointing review!

Italian Grand Prix

Monza was absolutely fantastic. It is more of a traditional track. The seating is metal so definitely take a cushion. The atmosphere was electric as Ferrari fans are so passionate. It can be difficult to navigate around as the track is in middle of a royal park so be prepared to walk.
