The race has been held here annually since 1989, with local fans eager to get behind the various Spanish riders on the grid, including Pol Espargaró, Joan Mir and legendary multiple World Champion Marc Marquez. Moto3 and Moto2 will also be in action, while the sport’s exciting electric series MotoE will also be racing beside the main event.

Temperatures in Jerez reach an average high of 23°C in April, attracting motorsport fans and tourists from around the globe to Spain’s south coast. Deep in the sherry-producing region of the country, tours of the regions famous bodegas are popular, while many will relax between race sessions on the nearby picturesque beaches to soak up the sun.
