Gold 4 is located on the infamous L'Eau Rouge bend offering incredible panoramic views from La Source at the bottom of the hill to Le Raidillon on the left.

Excellent weekend at Spa-Francorchamps, more than just the formula one on offer for a full weekend of entertainment. Yellow Camping was good value, pretty close (20m walk) to the circuit and comfortable site with on-site cafe, fantastic temporary shower blocks. Toilets were very much lacking though - they were disgusting and I refused to use them. Definitely pack your walking shoes! It’s a hilly affair but well worth the effort!

The weekend was great. Great atmosphere at the Spa Francorchamps circuit. We had de Gold 4 tickets, Nice view from the grandstand. Prices for food and drinks on site are quite expensive, so it's a good idea to take some drinks / snacks in your backpack as it is allowed on site. We had a very nice time.

This was my 2nd visit to Spa, and I have also attended many other GPs all booked through Book F1. As always, the tickets arrived on time and all as expected. The weekend itself was excellent. Facilities and entertainment at Spa have definitely improved since my last visit 5 years ago. I thought the circuit organisation was pretty good (and certainly better than Monza) My tips would be: 1. Wear trainers/walking shoes as all car parks are a walk from the circuit + unless you are very lucky your stand will also be a walk from the nearest entrance, and probably up some hills. 2. Prepare for sun and rain - you usually get both (Quali was 30 degrees, Race day 18 and windy) 3. No problem bringing food and drink into the circuit. The usual fast food/beer stalls are everywhere and I thought the token system worked pretty well. You expect to pay over the odds at any sporting event and this is no different. 4. Arrive early to beat the masses. We arrived at around 8.30 on Saturday and Sunday and had minimal queues. I would definitely return and either sit at Gold 4 again next to Eau Rouge, or for overtaking go for Les Combes.

Trotzdem in Ordnung!

It was nice experience that nice weather and exiting race.

The good: - Weekend in general was incredible - Fast ticket/bag checks - Good and comfortable seats (sat at Gold 4 on Eau Rouge) with brilliant views - Excellent F1 village - Lots of action on the circuit in addition to the F1 - Drivers parade - Friendly and helpful stewards - Decent toilets The bad: - Toilets in Gold 4 didn't open until the afternoon on race day. They were even still closed when the Porsche race had already started - Shuttle bus drop off/pick up was different on Sat and Sun which was confusing - Shuttle bus drop off/pick up on Sat was very far away - Shuttle buses didn't leave until after the F1 race had ended, they should go (less frequently) all day. Sounds silly but we needed to leave a bit before the end to get back for the last Eurostar of the day. Ended up being forced to get a 90 euro taxi back to Verviers. - Big screen audio and picture was out of synch whenever it was live interviews - F2 race commentary was exclusively French, would have liked at least some English

Excellent well organised weekend, only 1 complaint, we booked and paid for VIP parking on 2 days and it was full and we had to park 1/2 a mile away

Great weekend and thank you for BookF1 for there help in booking the yellow camping at Spa - one word of warning - it says its quiet camping but it is far from it - Just saying didn't bother us however.

First visit to Spa and my overall feeling is that the location is stunning! No TV images can display the undulations/gradients of the track. Eau Rouge is obviously the famous 'hill' but it's really insignificant compared to the track in general. Stunning scenery through the forest. We walked for miles. Good shoes are a must as there is a lot of walking involved. We had blistering sunshine, rain, fog and hail stones all within the weekend!! I'd recommend the circuit to anyone, fabulous weekend and i'll certainly go back. Only downside for me was that the food was obscenely expensive. The F1 official store prices were as equally eye watering. 55-80 Euros for a 3 year olds T-Shirt, 170 Euros for a coat and 40+ Euros for a team Cap. Stand selected (Silver 2) was superb and view was fantastic. Only comment about seating is that despite this being the longest track on the calendar General Admission is massively oversubscribed and invaded by half of Holland supporting Max so i'd highly recommend buying a Grandstand ticket for Quali and Race day! Not enough toilets around the track at all but all reasonably clean. Overall - i'd go back in a heartbeat. Will take a packed lunch next time though!

The event was marred by a few things - for one the seat choice was a mistake - the rake of the stand D is far too shallow and sitting near the rear meant visibility was worse than if we had been freestanding. A lot to pay for a bad view. Womens toilets were again lacking in number - why can't they get that right ever? The worst of it was the ra ra music and some idiot trying to get you going as if we were all drunk young teenagers - all very well when piped in a stage area but blasted all over the track perimeter non stop? - even for an hour after the race. If Singapore scores 10 on how to put on an event the Belgians are a definite 2. The track and location however make up for all these shortcomings. Pity if wasn't a wet race to make it more interesting.

Everything went very smoothly from the onset of choosing the venue up until the Thursday before Spa. Communications and receiving of our documents were A+ from Book F1. I can't say enough about their service. Our issue is with Spa itself. We don't know how much Spa communications with its vendors. We arrived at 2pm on Thursday so we could walk the track and get ready for the event at 4pm. There is nothing in our documents that state the track doesn't open until 4pm for a 4pm events! This meant that we stood outside, with one port-a-potty for thousands of people, literally! There was one stand for food but if your group had already passed the food stand and port-a-potty, it was impossible to go back up the hill while we all waited. Once they did open the gate at 4pm, it was chaos. Literally thousands of people with 3 day passes were rushed onto the track. We did get to walk pit lane but it was impossible to see anything. Trying to see a driver, was impossible. The smarter thing to do was to arrive after 4pm, let the crowds rush in and show up at 5pm. Our second issue is with parking. We assumed that having a gold parking pass for 3-6 would guarantee us parking. Nope! Our walk on Friday was over 2 miles to our seats. Our walk to and from our seats on Saturday was 6.2 miles. No shuttle service. Fortunately we are in good shape. Sunday, we got up at 5:30am to get to the track from Clervaux. We arrived and were off the freeway at 8am promptly which is where we sat. To get to the track took 3.45 hours and we missed all the morning races. We were fortunate that a farmer had opened up his field and took our parking pass which got us to our seats just in time to see the driver's parade at 12:30pm. If you don't purchase a parking pass, who knows where they send you. If you have a parking pass, all this does is assure you that you will get a parking space somewhere within 4 miles of the track (one way). It was the most disorganized thing we have ever encountered. Our seats were in Gold 4 under cover which was great for Friday because it was pouring rain. These seats were terrible, I do not blame Book F1 as the seats are just bad seats. The seats sit too close to Eau Rouge so you can only watch them coming up to the corner, nothing else. It doesn't matter if you are up high or in the first row. We spent 2 days sitting along the fence to get a better view and never once sat in our seats. The food is expensive so we bought bread, salumi and cheese with us which was perfect. You can't just purchase something to eat, you have to purchase 10 tokens at 40.00 US. If you don't have enough tokens, you have to purchase another 10 tokens for 40.00. You can't just buy a bottle of water. 10 tokens are good for two bratwurst, one french fry and a bottle of water. On race day, the men's outdoor urinal was so full it was over-flowing into the food court at Eau Rouge. To get to the women's bathrooms, (which were very clean, running water and plenty of toilet paper), you were literally standing in piss while you were in line. Even my husband was grossed out. We've now been to six grand prix's. I do not blame this experience on Booking F1 but I would not return to Spa in the future. It was the most expensive tickets we've purchase (even over Monaco) with the worst accommodations.

This was our third trip to Spa. It's an amaxing experience and this time we had eau rouge tickets which were amazing. Compared to the last times we have been the facilities at the track have been greatly improved and it's a much better atmosphere. I think it is partly due to the new f1 bosses but also a general overhaul of the track itself. The camping was fine - as ever could do with more (nicer!!!!) toilets and showers that are distributed across the site (we were in yellow) and not just st one end. My main issue this year was that we were really packed in to the site this time and we struggled to get our car out to go food shopping. Coming from England our intention was to get bbq food once here to save travelling with it but we were so crammed in. It was a bit claustrophobic. It almost spoilt the experience, but not quite. Next time, allow fewer people in because if the emergency services were needed there was no way they could get in.

The race is always excellent in Spa, Spa is very unique in pace, atmosphere and track entertainment. Very poor is the hygienic facility side of the track. On the campsite at the track were no showers, less than 10 Dixie toilets for more than 250 people. The track itself had a few toilets but not near enough. Also no power is provided in Spa. Other racetrack have much better facilities (and a lot cheaper!).

We booked the flights and hotel ourselves. The flights with Ryanair were cheap and on time...cant ask for more. The hotel was in Durbuy which is an hours drive away through some stunning countryside and the village itself is fantastic. Cobbled streets, a castle , river, loads of quaint hotels. bars and restaurants. The traffic coming this way was certainly less dense than going the other. It was busier than we thought as entry into the village is on ordinary streets and not built for this huge event. We arrived at 9.30 in the morning and told our booked and pre-paid car park was full and we were not allowed to go and find it and had to pay again in another private car park, a field. The same thing happened on race day Sunday. Out of pocket there then. Our seats in eau rouge were great but could have been a bit higher up the stand so we didn't have the metal fence to see through. I thought the closer the track ie. the lower the row, the better the seat. We thoroughly enjoyed the event but I am not sure what BOOK F1 added to the event. Everyone else we saw was wearing some kind of branding from their booking agent, lanyards, carrier bags, small rucksacks, caps even Tee shirts. I have already corresponded with you on this and made my disappointment felt.

I don't know how to start. Spa is a great track just a shame that the Belgians are hell bent at being better than the French in not being able to organise a piss up in a brewery. after being to 4 F1 tracks a in the last 5 years and seeing prices go up massively this was the final straw for us no more F1. The facilities lets start there. unless you got some vouchers it was impossible to get food inside the track, then a waffle with ice cream was € and a burger €14 so bring your own food. Our ticket for Eau Rouge cost over £300 per person and for a stand with 2300 capacity (mostly men of course) there was 1 toilet and 3 urinals to be used at the slight cost of 70 cent. no food but the stand that was available about 5 min away so not a problem. at the stands we could buy one type of alcoholic drink Heineken Beer (€5 for a can, Sat and Sun it was warm because they ran out of ice) I did not see a any other alcoholic drinks being sold anywhere else on the track and heard a woman really complaining she was unable to find a glass of wine once inside. Entry to track: We stayed about 4-5 km from the track (expect to walk back Sunday after race as roads are grid locked) but when arriving on all three days there was a queue to enter the track of at least 30 min, Sunday over 1h and we got there 8 am. 3 entry slots to track where 3 people checking your bags and about 20 000 people coming through this entrance as a lot of the temporary campsites are around there, sadly I cant remember the name but is opposite Eau rouge on the other side of the track. As Spa is a big track area wise (much bigger than Silverstone) there is rods and walkways inside the track so you don't have to walk around. On Sunday after race they close these adding easy 2-3km to your walk to the exit so my word of advise is make sure you pick your accommodation on the same side as your stand. otherwise you have a long walk. So unless you are prepared to carry all your food and drinks to the track and can hold your bladder for 10h whilst drinking. Go somewhere else. Me and my friend are going to USA for a week and watch 5 NHL games it will cost us about the same as a F1 weekend.

Great weekend spent at the Spa circuit. We had an excellent view of the circuit at the bottom of Eau Rouge and were able to experience the greatest corner in F1 for the full three days. The event was generally well organised and was packed out on Sunday, which gave an excellent atmosphere to a great race. Weather was lovely and we enjoyed watching not only F1 but also GP2, GP3 and Porsche supercup as well which gave the tickets extra value for money and allowed us to enjoy a weekend full of motorsport. I found it easy to move around the circuit so not only watched from our seats but also for other vantage points as well. I would recommend Spa as a great starter circuit for people who have never gone to a Grand Prix before but want to go abroad at the same time.

I have to say I enjoyed the week end but as I have a mobility issue I think the. the car parking is not good and a train or golf. cart would be very good and when fans pay 39£ a day would be a very helpful and well received

Just back from the Belgium F1 and not a bad thing to say about it really apart from my comments further down. We had beautiful weather for the 4 days, 35 degrees each day. We used CampingF1 to book out Camp Site and again this was great, very well organised. The reason for the 4 star rating against the Circuit Facilities is the requirement to purchase tickets for food once you are in the circuit. 20€ for 6 tickets and 1 ice lolly costs 1.5 tickets (around 5€) Access to the Circuit was OK however due to the popularity of the event you'd think they'd have more entrance options. Queue was manic!!!!!

I've been dreaming about sitting on Eau Rouge since I was 15 and finally made it for my 60th birthday. And it was so worth the wait. Probably THE best F1 spot there is. The whole weekend was brilliant. Minor niggles - the hills were hard on my knees and there aren't enough loos for men on the circuit. But are there ever enough loos at a public event?
