Le Mans Bugatti Circuit Track Map

Getting to the Le Mans Bugatti Circuit

Making your way to the Bugatti Circuit is relatively simple. The distance is not large, as you can see in the map below, and there are a number of ways to travel on race days.

If you choose to go by car or taxi, the short distance from the city centre (5-6 km) takes only around 10–15 minutes. However, this will be much higher on race weekend so make sure you leave early if this is your chosen method of transport.

The race organisers are offering free parking to racegoers with a three-day ticket, but have advised to organise it early as the roads with be very crowded – more information here. Some areas are walkable from the parking, while others have drop off points with shuttle buses to take you to the circuit entrance.

Shuttle Bus (Event Days Only)

The French MotoGP organisers at Le Mans usually offer dedicated shuttle services during the MotoGP weekend.

The pick-up points are often from the Le Mans train station and city centre areas. There are regular departures beginning early in the morning until late into the evening.

Check the official event site or local tourism board for routes and schedules.

Public Transport

The are also regular bus (Line 5) and tram services running throughout the weekend. For the tram, take the T1 line from Le Mans city centre to the Antarès-Stade Marie Marvingt stop. From there, you can access the circuit via the East entrance. The tram operates from 5:30 am to 1:00am on race days. We advise travelling in early and out late to avoid the worst of the crowds.

Where to stay at the French MotoGP

The majority of fans attending the French MotoGP will base themselves in Le Mans. Paris is around an hour’s journey on the TGV fast train, but that can get pricey and busy if you’re planning on doing several days at the track.

A lot like the Le Mans 24hr, the town is flooded with motorsport fans on race weekend. Naturally, the most attended race on the MotoGP calendar means that accommodation is in short supply the closer you get to the race. It is crucial to book your accommodation well in advance.

Le Mans

Le Mans

Le Mans is the closest option to the circuit, except camping (see below). While spending time away from the track, you can expect to soak up the French culture with a charming medieval old town, riverside walks, and classic French cafés. Here are three hotel option for your stay in Le Mans.

Hôtel Le Charleston (★★★)

A cozy and stylish hotel just a short walk from the train station and city centre. This boutique option blends comfort with charm, and offers easy access to both Le Mans’ cultural sites and transport to the circuit.

Mercure Le Mans Centre (★★★★)

Located in a beautifully restored 19th-century building, this hotel combines modern amenities with historic character. With spacious rooms and secure parking, it’s a great base for racegoers looking for convenience and class.

Hôtel & Spa Leprince (★★★★★)

A luxury hotel in the heart of Le Mans, featuring a spa, elegant decor, and exceptional service. Perfect for MotoGP fans who want to unwind in style after a day at the track, while staying close to the city’s top restaurants and historic attractions.

Camping at the French MotoGP

Camping at Bugatti Circuit is, for many fans, the best way to soak in the festival atmosphere in Le Mans. Many of the sites are situaed close to the track, meaning you can wake up to the sound of engines warming up and get the the track on foot. Many people park up on arrival and don’t get back in the car for the entire weekend until it’s time to leave!

There are several official camping zones around the circuit. They range from basic pitches up to more comfortable and convenient areas with toilets, showers, and food options.

  • Pro tip: Earplugs and a good tent are essential. The vibe is one that no other race goers will appreciate. But be prepared for noise and potentially very muddy conditions if the northern French rain hits.
  • Booking: Spaces are limited and go quickly — book early through the official MotoGP or Le Mans event website.
