The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli is located near the Adriatic coast and the town of Misano Adriatico in the province of Rimini, Emilia Romagna, Italy.

Due to its location, there are several options for racegoers to choose when attending the San Marino Grand Prix, depending on where they are based.

Federico Fellini International Airport (RMI) in Rimini is the closest to the circuit, though its schedule is limited mostly to seasonal and charter routes. Camping at San Marino MotoGP

While there is no official trackside campsite at Misano World Circuit itself, several holiday villages and camping resorts in the surrounding towns of Misano Adriatico, Riccione, and Cattolica open their doors to MotoGP fans. These sites tend to book up quickly over race weekend, as they provide a lively alternative to hotels while still keeping you close to the action.

The most popular base is Camping Village Misano, located just a short distance from the circuit and within walking reach of the beach. It offers everything from standard tent pitches and caravan spots to mobile homes and even glamping-style safari tents. Facilities are well maintained, with swimming pools, restaurants, and entertainment included, making it feel more like a festival hub than a basic campsite.

Other nearby options such as Camping Adria in Riccione and Villaggio Mithos provide a similar blend of practicality and atmosphere. Both feature pitches for tents and camper vans, along with bungalows or chalets for those wanting a sturdier setup. These campsites are particularly popular with bikers, giving them a strong community feel during race weekend.

Do note that tents and camping gear are not permitted inside the circuit itself. Only camping chairs are allowed in the natural grandstands, so staying at one of these nearby holiday villages is the best way to capture the MotoGP camping spirit.
