Hungary F1 weekend schedule
The Hungarian Grand Prix is among the cheapest to attend on the Formula 1 calendar. A city break to Budapest, among Europe’s most wallet-friendly tourist locations, makes the Hungarian Grand Prix on of Europe’s most popular races.
The schedule for the 2026 race is yet to be confirmed, but below is the schedule for the 2025 Hungarian F1 Grand Prix, including the UK start times.
Some attendees had tickets for the High-Speed Testing on Thursday, with the times included below. The High Speed Test began at 14:00 and could be viewed from the new HUNGARORING grandstand after entering through Gate 8.

Formula 2 and Formula 3 will both be on show at the 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix, as well as the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup.

Where to stay at the Hungarian F1 Grand Prix
The Hungaroring is located very conveniently close to the Hungarian capital of Budapest. There is a wealth of hotel and AirBnb options in the city which is an easy commutable distance from the track.

The Hungarian Grand Prix is one of the most wallet-friendly options on the entire Formula 1 calendar, but finding accommodation can be one of the most expensive aspects of travelling to a race. Having a major European city close to the track means that there is a wealth of Budapest hotel options at relatively reasonable prices.
We would recommend staying in the east of the city as this will provide the easiest access both to the airport and the Hungaroring itself.
