Termas de Río Hondo Circuit was initially built in 2007, however was completely re-designed for its first MotoGP race in 2014. It consists of 14 turns; 6 left corners and 8 right corners with a long backstraight covering 1.3km.
The eclectic mix of track features means no one bike will suit the circuit perfectly, as acceleration, top speed, and cornering speeds (individual hallmarks of individual teams in MotoGP), make for an exciting and competitive race.
Running in a clockwise direction, the circuit has a superb mix of fast straights, flowing turns and a sequence of hairpins to challenge even the most seasoned rider.
