Japanese MotoGP 2020

Race profile

Twin Ring Motegi Circuit is located in central Japan, approximately 100 miles north Tokyo. Japan is the home to Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki and the country has a rich motorcycle racing heritage, it has been a permanent fixture on the MotoGP™ calendar since it first hosted a race in 1999.

Outside of racing, Twin Ring has the Honda Collection Hall, which features historic Honda racing and production cars and motorcycles, and Honda Fan Fun Lab, which features Honda's next generation technologies such as robotics, fuel-cell vehicles and aviation. Honda also operates a technology demonstration centre on the site, as well as educational hubs.

In 2018, Marc Marquez won the MotoGP World Championship for the fifth time as he clinched his eighth win of the season in front of Honda’s home crowd. Given how the season is progressing, it is not possible to say if the Championship will be decided in Japan again but take the opportunity to join the passionate local fans and find out!
