Be in the stands for the season finale at the Yas Marina Circuit

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is the traditional end to the Formula 1 season, and is the place to watch the racing action in style. Since 2009, the race has been one of the final two rounds of the season and has always provided drama right to the end of the racing year. In 2010, Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Mark Webber were all in contention to win the World Championship at the final F1 race. Vettel was the victor, winning his first of four drivers’ championships and becoming the youngest driver to be crowned. Each year the event also sees a winner crowned in F2, as the support series comes to a close at Abu Dhabi. Built around the Marina on Yas Island - just thirty minutes from the United Arab Emirates capital Abu Dhabi, the circuit has a Monaco vibe as it passes Yas Marina, full of luxury, and passes under the impressive W Hotel. When the race is over and the season is done, there are plenty of opportunities to join the teams as they celebrate a year well done, with Amber Lounge parties and premium hospitality packages popular options for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

COVID-19 Security Measures:

As a major sporting and entertainment event in the global calendar to open to spectators in 2022, Yas Marina have been working hard to develop an event which not only adheres to all government COVID precautionary measures, but promotes a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors. This will include the following measures:

Vaccination Mandatory - All attendees must have received two doses of a UAE government approved COVID-19 Vaccine

PCR Testing - All attendees must also have a negative PCR test result within 48 hours of entering the venue

Temperature checking - Anyone with a temperature above 37.3 degrees will not be permitted access to the venue

Venue Sanitisation - Regular cleaning and sanitisation of all public areas with hand sanitiser at all major touch points

Social distancing - markers are in place throughout the venue

Children - Following government guidelines we are unable to allow children under the age of 12 into the event

First aid and COVID-19 Testing point - Fully manned first aid point with dedicated quarantine room for suspected COVID-19 cases.

Please note:

FOR NON-UAE RESIDENTS: a valid PCR test should have been conducted and negative result received within 48 hours of attending the event and authorised documentation and evidence of vaccination and PCR test should be provided.

FOR UAE RESIDENTS: a valid PCR test should have been conducted and negative result received within 48 hours of attending the event and presented on the AL HOSN APP, along with vaccination confirmation.

What will be different in 2022?

Designated Oasis Areas - To manage movement of guests and ensure a safe experience, ticket holders will be asked to only access the Oasis area designated to your ticket category

Enhanced F&B Service - To avoid queing, Yas Marina have introduced a table service and collection point operation. Simply find a free table, use the QR code to download the menu, order, and staff will prepare your meal and deliver direct to your table or closest food collection point

New Ways To See Track & Teams - To protect drivers and teams, Yas Marina have changed the way you can interact this year and have introduced an incredible Track walk. Grab your camera and get up close and personal with all the turns, and a glimpse of some pit lane action
