SIGN UP FOR NEW YORK F1 GRAND PRIX TICKET NEWS

Is New York the next F1 Grand Prix destination? As Formula 1 tightens its grip in America as rumours circulate of a New York Grand Prix in the coming seasons.

Formula 1’s rampage of motorsport domination across the USA continues, and the next stop may well be New York. One of the world’s most recognisable and iconic cities is rumoured to be the latest destination for an F1 Grand Prix in the US. It would be the first time in the sport’s history that a race has been held in New York. What is clear is that Formula 1 is definitely on the up in the USA.

This season, a record three races are set to be held in the United States, Miami, Austin and, for the first time ever, Las Vegas. Many attribute the exponential boost in Formula 1 interest in the States to the Netflix Effect. Drive to Survive has recently released its fifth season, having a huge effect on the popularity of Formula 1 across the world.

The potential addition of New York to the calendar represents how the US is fast becoming one of the sport’s global strongholds.

For the fans, a trip to New York is never a bad idea. Visiting the Big Apple is something that everyone should do at least once in their life. On a logistical level, the good news for travellers from Europe is that the flights are notably shorter and cheaper than to the other Grand Prix cities in the US.

The New York Formula 1 Grand Prix has not been confirmed and at this point the news is just speculation. Sign up to the Motorsport Tickets mailing list to be the first to know when the news breaks.
