Witness the first of ten races at a new circuit in Qatar

The Qatar Grand Prix is set to be on the Formula 1 calendar for the next decade, with racing at a purpose-built circuit. Formula 1 racing debuted in Qatar in 2021, when the Losail International Circuit was drafted in to replace the cancelled Australian race. While the race was an exciting one – with Fernando Alonso earning a podium – the circuit is better suited to MotoGP racing. The motorcycle series has raced at the track since 2004.

When it was announced that Qatar would host a race, it was also revealed that the country would host races for ten years from 2023. Details on the circuit and location have not been revealed, but it can be assumed the track will be close to the capital city Doha.

Qatar is looking to capitalise on its building reputation as a sporting nation, with the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be hosted in the kingdom.

While little is know about the location, circuit and dates for the 2023 Qatar Grand Prix, you can sign up for ticketing, grandstand and date information. Enter your email address above to be notified as soon as information is announced.
