Barcelona is known for its art and architecture, but on track at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya during the Spanish Grand Prix, Formula 1 drivers look to create a masterpiece of their own. F2 and F3 will provide support series action at the Spanish Grand Prix, as some of the bright stars of motor racing get set to impress on track.

Taking place in the Catalonia capital during May, temperatures sizzle up to 26°C with most opting to combine a race weekend with a longer stay in the city. From exploring Gaudí’s stunning architecture to relaxing on the city’s many beaches after a ferocious weekend of racing, there’s something to keep everyone happy. Formula 1's two Spaniards had excellent seasons in 2022. Fernando Alonso helped Alpine on their way to fourth in the Constructors' Championship, while Carlos Sainz powered to his first pole position and Grand Prix victory with Ferrari. Both will be hoping to produce faultless performances in front of an adoring home crowd with the Spanish Grand Prix returns in 2023.

Take the hassle out of getting to the circuit and book your return transfer with Sagales from Barcelona, straight to the circuit!

Departures from Barcelona are made from Estación del Nord (C/Ali Bei, 80) on platforms 25, 26 and 27. Located next to the Arc de Triomf and connected to the Metro and RENFE service.

    Friday:

    • Departures on Friday to the circuit will run from 08:00 to 13:00. Return trips will run from 15:30 to 18:30.

    Saturday:

    • Departures on Saturday to the circuit will run from 08:00 to 13:00. Return trips will run from 15:30 to 18:30.
