The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is a popular all-rounder circuit whether you’re racing on two wheels or four. The second of Spain’s four MotoGP rounds, the Catalan race tests the riders with a variety of long straights, fast sweeping turns and slower corners to navigate.
While the grandstands will be filled with Spanish fans cheering on their home heroes. And the Catalan locals will be eager to throw their support behind both Espargaró and Marquez brothers, as well as Álex Rins and Maverick Viñales, who all hail from the Catalonia region. On track, they’ll be battling hard against each other, while Moto2, Moto3 and MotoE will be providing support race entertainment.
Away from the circuit, Barcelona is one of the cultural capitals of Europe. The iconic Sagrada Familia is one of the most famous landmarks on the continent, while the city’s unique coastal location means you can enjoy the city’s nightlife and unwind with a drink on the beach - salud!
