The long, flowing Le Mans track takes off from the same start straight as the famous endurance race before bursting onto the permanent Bugatti Circuit, where Moto2, Moto3, and MotoE support races promise non-stop action throughout the weekend. In 2025, the excitement reached fever pitch as 311,797 fans packed the stands, setting a new all-time MotoGP attendance record.
Home hero Johann Zarco triumphed in front of the adoring crowd, becoming the first Frenchman to win at his home circuit since Pierre Monneret in 1954.
In 2026, Jorge Martin delivered a dominant performance to win the French Grand Prix for Aprilia, leading home an historic 1-2-3 for the manufacturer ahead of teammate Marco Bezzecchi and Ai Ogura.
