    Kazakhstan may have departed from the MotoGP calendar for now, but hopes are high for a future race. Sign up to hear ticket news about any future races.

    The new circuit sits just outside Kazakhstan’s largest city, Almaty. The former capital city is in the foothills of the scenic Tian Shan mountain range, close to the border with Kyrgyzstan.

    One hour away, the Sokol Circuit is a brand new racing facility featuring a 4.5km circuit with 13 turns designed by Hermann Tilke. Bearing similarities to the Bahrain International Circuit, the track features a variety of long straights, high-speed slaloms, tight hairpins and tricky chicanes.
