The World Rally Championship (WRC) is the premier motorsport discipline for the sport of rallying and is governed by the FIA.

Known as one of motorsport’s most challenging risk-ridden series, the globe-trotting WRC season sees teams and drivers tackle rally events on surfaces fluctuating from tarmac and gravel to snow and ice. Each rally takes place on closed roads and/or tracks and is split into multiple ‘stages’ across three or four days.

The sport can count a host of legendary names amongst its list of previous World Champions including Sébastien Loeb, Sébastien Ogier and Colin McRae. 2022 saw Finland’s Kalle Rovanperä crowned the youngest ever WRC World Champion after wrapping up the championship just a day after his 22nd birthday.

With a new look calendar for 2023, the introduction of an asphalt rally, and the return of Mexico and Chile post Covid, 2023 has much to offer. If you've not experienced rally before, you've got to give it a try.
