The Valencia MotoGP race is the final Grand Prix of the season. Find out the best grandstands to watch the race at Circuit Ricardo Tormo.
Where to watch

If you want to witness the ultimate spectacle in motorcycle racing, the Valencia MotoGP is the race for you. In the traditional finale of the racing season, the championship could be all to race for into the final few laps of the year. And the Circuit Ricardo Tormo is the perfect location for both riders and fans in the grandstands.

As far as race tracks go, for spectators, it doesn’t get better than Valencia. This short, fast lap is built with grandstands lining the outer perimeter. As the track turns in on itself twice and is just 4km long, fans can see the entire circuit from almost any stand on the circuit.

And for the season finale, the bowl-like grandstand set-up generates a stadium atmosphere for the conclusion of the season. There’s nowhere better to close out a year of hard racing.

You’ll be able to peer into the pits as the riders make their way out on track and, should it be a flag-to-flag race, the chaos of the bike swaps in the rain. If you book a box, this is where you will see the action.

Here you’ll see the fast exit out of the sweeping turn 1, and the looping hairpin at turn 2. Both make excellent overtaking opportunities for the riders. Thanks to the layout of the circuit, you will have a view of the whole first intermediate and will be able to see some of the corners in the latter half of the lap from your seat. Fans who have visited in the past have given this stand a rating of 4.7/5, and Amanda commented: “We were in the yellow stand and had an amazing view of most of the track”.

The Blue grandstand is between turns 2 and 6. It gives fans a few of the bikes passing through several corners in the first half of the lap. The Blue grandstand also benefits from an extension, that stretches behind the main stand between sectors 15 and 36. This added elevation gives fans an excellent view across the entire track. While it does take you further away from the trackside, the views more than make up for it.

Fans give this grandstand a 4.4/5 rating, with one spectator commenting: “This is a great track for spectators. The ‘green’ seating gives a view of most of the track with a large video screen opposite and some great photo opportunities when the riders do their practice starts right opposite.”
