Goodwood Festivals

There may not be a better motorsport day out in the UK this summer than the Goodwood festivals. After postponing the 2020 events, the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival return with some of the biggest names and machines in motor racing.

From 8th – 11th July, the Festival of Speed celebrates everything modern machinery has to offer. Three paddocks are full of cars by modern F1 teams, Supercars, and the latest machines from the automotive world. At the heart of it is The Hillclimb, where drivers show off what the cars can really do. Fans can get up close and witness the speed and close enough for budding photographers to take stunning snaps of the cars in action. It’s also been confirmed McLaren’s Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris will be appearing across the weekend too, in time to wish them luck ahead of the following weekend’s British Grand Prix.

The Goodwood Revival recreates the spirit of Grand Prix racing of old. Fans from across the country bring the vintage motorsport glamour to the famous racing circuit, where they’ll enjoy witnessing the collection of pioneering machines in action.

British MotoGP

This season’s MotoGP championship is shaping up to be one of the most dramatic yet. Flag-to-flag racing, nail-biting conclusions and no clear frontrunner for the title, it’s proving to be one of the most exciting racing series on the planet in 2021. And we can expect much more of the same from this year’s Silverstone showpiece.

While the 2020 race was called off as a result of the pandemic, the 2019 race was one of the closest finishes in MotoGP history Alex Rins won the race by 0.014seconds, having trailed Marc Marquez out of the final corner. With the field looking tighter than it perhaps ever has, fans have the thrills and spills of Silverstone to look forward to in 2021 once again.
