But with so many races, It can be tricky keeping up with where the sport is racing when.
Formula 1 usually publishes its provisional calendar well in advance of a new season before confirming it weeks later. This not only gives teams and drivers the opportunities to get ready to go racing, but for fans to plan which races they can attend in any given season.
This year’s season got underway in Bahrain on 28th March. The series will then move into Europe for many months. From September, Formula 1 will race in Russia, then Asia for the Singapore and Japanese Grands Prix. It will then move to the Americas, for the United States, Mexican and Brazilian races. Having been postponed from March, the Australian Grand Prix – normally the first race of the season, will take place in November. Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi will host the final two rounds.
