One of only two races to have been held in every season of Formula 1, the British Grand Prix has a rich heritage in the sport. Held at the Silverstone circuit in Northamptonshire, this race is one of the most enjoyable for drivers. An eclectic mix of high and low-speed corners, long straights and the challenging esses at Maggots and Becketts makes for an always entertaining race. Fans flock to the grandstands, of which there are many with great views of the cars at several points in the lap. For many of the teams based in Britain, this is seen as a home race, and one they all want to win. Attracting over 300,000 people over the weekend every year, a British Grand Prix ticket is the hottest ticket on the calendar.
