Miami F1 Grandstands

Main (Start/Finish) Grandstand

Covered: Yes (Partially)

Big Screen: Yes

Numbered seating: Yes

The Main Grandstand is predictably located at the start/finish line in the “North Campus” section. These are essentially the front row seats with views of the pits, and the start/finish. It is worth noting that only the top rows of the grandstand are covered.

Typically interviews are given right in front of the main stand following qualifying on Saturday. On Sunday, the Main Grandstand offers a prime spot to follow the interviews of the top three finishers after the race from the parc ferme.

For those on the look out for celebrities, this may be the best spot outside of the Paddock Club tickets.

Important: unlike in other main stands in F1, Miami does not offer views of the podium and trophy presentation. The ceremony takes place at the other end of the Hard Rock Stadium. Therefore fans in the Main Grandstand will have to follow it on the screen.

Beach Grandstands

Covered: Yes (partially)

Big Screen: Yes

Numbered seating: Yes

The Beach Grandstands are some of the best known and most sought after seats at the Miami Grand Prix. There are two Beach Grandstands – North and South – and both are within a mini stadium-like zone. You’ll have the best view of the Hard Rock Beach Club videoboards, showing all the music performances from across the weekend.

This is known for being the party grandstand on race weekend. The most lively and passionate fans can be found in the Beach Grandstands, including the Red Bull Racing Fan Club. The North Grandstand curves around turn 12, while the South Grandstand is at the end of the back straight before turn 11. The South grandstand is the perfect vantage point to see the cars enter this heavy braking zone going from 330 km/h to under 100km/h in a matter of seconds. It is the best overtaking opportunity on the entire circuit.

Note: Seating in these stands is bleacher-style bench seating.

Turn 18 Grandstand

Covered: Yes (partially)

Big Screen: Yes

Numbered seating: Yes

The Turn 18 Grandstand is located in the West Campus section of the Miami International Autodrome. It offers one of the most panoramic views of the track. From this vantage point you can enjoy the heavy braking zone in front of the stand as well as one of the best overtaking opportunities. Then the cars accelerate into fast corners towards start/finish straight or head straight into pit lane entry.

Marina Grandstands

Covered: Yes (partially)

Big Screen: Yes

Numbered seating: Yes

The famous Miami Marina with its painted-on water is a feature for which this track is well know – you can imagine you’re in Monaco! There are three grandstands located in the Marina section, which line the fast-corner complex of turns 6, 7, and 8. These stands are best for views of cars at medium to high speed.

Marina zone of the Miami F1 Grand Prix

The McLaren Fan Club is located in the North Marina Grandstand – if you’re in Miami to support Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, this is the place for you.

This zone is located very close to the Marina and Promenade campus areas.

Turn 1 Grandstands

Covered: Yes (partially)

Big Screen: Yes

Numbered seating: Yes

There are two grandstands in this section: the North which sits at the very end of the main straight, overlooking turn 1, and the South located on turn 1 itself. These grandstands can be found in the North Campus. They offer racegoers a great view of the main straight and the first turn where there is a potential overtaking zone.

The North Grandstand provides a great view of the cars on the start/finish straight as they head into a braking zone before the first corner and accelerate into turns 2 and 3.

South Grandstand seats offer mainly fence-free views from the lower rows. Watch from tantalising proximity as the cars tackle the sharp turn 1. This is a great spot for overtaking, especially at the start of the race when all 20 cars pile into turn 1.

Family Grandstand

Covered: Yes (partially)

Big Screen: Yes

Numbered seating: Yes

Located in the East Campus, the Family Grandstand offers a family-friendly atmosphere. Bear in mind that only the top rows offer shade from the Florida sun. This stand is located on the fast south straight between turns 10 and 11, looking onto the Sweeping South Straightaway.

The seating in the Family Grandstand is bleacher-style bench seating, but offers extensive views of the cars reaching their top speeds on the sweeping South straightaway.

Fountain View Grandstand

Covered: No

Big Screen: Yes

Numbered grandstand: Yes

The Fountain View Grandstand is on the fast straight of the circuit leading into turn 9. The stand is located close to turns 4 and 5 on the other side of the circuit, however views of this section will be obstructed.
