🇶🇦 Qatar F1 Grand Prix – From £119*

It is somewhat of a mystery as to why the Qatar F1 Grand Prix remains one of the cheapest F1 tickets on the calendar. Considering the incredible concerts that are included in the ticket price, the draw of the winter sun, and its position at the end of the season where the stakes are often the highest, Qatar must be considered as one of the best options for a Grand Prix experience.

Artists who have entertained the crowds at the Grand Prix in Doha in recent years include Metallica, Alesso and Maroon 5. The 2026 line-up has not yet been released – but it’s safe to assume it will be good!

🇸🇦 Saudi Arabian F1 Grand Prix – From £125

Jeddah also has the attraction of offering sun at what (for many of us) is a chilly time of year. As Round 5, the Saudi F1 Grand Prix takes place in April in 2026. The tickets are also the second cheapest F1 tickets currently on sale on our website. Once the Early Bird offer finishes for Qatar on March 15, they will be the cheapest.

The organisers have pulled out all the stops with the music line-up this year. How about paying £125 for a weekend ticket to a F1 Grand Prix and also seeing Shakira, Pitbull and Kygo in the same weekend!

🇯🇵 Japanese F1 Grand Prix – From £137

Japan is one of the most truly unique places on the Formula 1 calendar. Its isolation and initial resistance to globalisation has meant that its culture has remained uniquely authentic, and these are some of the main contributing factors behind why many people are drawn to the land of Samurai, Sushi, Geishas and Anime each year. Japan is a safe, clean and friendly place to visit and on top of that – the Formula 1 at Suzuka is also very affordable.

It is worth factoring in that, for many of us, Japan is a long way away and notoriously expensive to get to. But as the country is on everyone’s bucket list, what better excuse than to tick it off alongside one of the cheapest F1 tickets of the season.

🇪🇸 Barcelona F1 Grand Prix – From £202

What’s not to love about Barcelona. The classic Grand Prix at Montmelo will be moving to every other calendar from 2026, as the mantle of Spanish Grand Prix is passed to Madrid. The coastal Catalan capital is one of Europe’s most popular destinations – what better time to visit?

Due to the good weather, good food and reasonable prices guaranteed, the Barcelona F1 Grand Prix is selling quickly. And remember – the next chance to attend will be 2028!

🇧🇪 Belgian F1 Grand Prix – From £217

Similar to Barcelona, the Grand Prix at Spa will be moving to alternating years from 2027. But there are few races on the calendar that can boast such iconic tracks, corners and dramatic races. The undulation up the corner at Eau Rouge, the long sweeping straights and the slight chance of a wet race mean that Belgium is usually one of the stand out tussles of the year.

Camping at the Belgian Grand Prix is a good option at Spa as an effective way to reduce hotel and travl costs as you can pitch camp with your fellow race-goers and walk the track each day.

Extra tips for finding the cheapest F1 tickets

There is more to a Formula 1 ticket than just the race. And if you’re a true fan, you should deifnielty facotr in other things that come along with a weekend pass.

It is also important, in a world where prices keep rising, and spare cash is harder to come bay, what alternatives there are to attending a full weekend race. Here a five suggestions that will help you get the most out of your investment in Formula 1 tickets.

1 – Just do a single day – Many people book tickets just for one the Friday (usually practice) or Saturday (usually Qualifying). This way you still get the Formula 1 experience for a fraction of the price – plus you don’t have to fight through such large crowds. For reference, you can get a GA Saturday ticket to Monaco (now sold out) for just £80. You can save a little but just buying a ticket for the race day (usually the Sunday) but not a huge amount.

2 – Tie in with personal visits – Reducing your travel and accommodation costs can be key during a race weekend. If you have friends or family members who live within striking distance of a track, maybe it’s worth paying a little extra for a Formula 1 ticket, and saving on accommodation. Many people travel with work, and their company can cover their flights for at least some of their travel should it coincide with a F1 race – this sounds like a long shot but you’d be surprised how many people do it!

3 – Consider what else you get with your F1 ticket – Many races offer so much more than just access to the circuit. More most of the European races, there isn’t much on offer in terms of concerts or freebies, but many of the Middle Eastern and American races offer world-class concerts and much more. Abu Dhabi is arguably the most generous offering – read all about it below!

4 – Sign up for alerts – Many of the cheapest ticket on the calendar, such as Hungarian Grand Prix General Admission tickets, have already sold out for 2026. And this is before the season has even officially started. Sign up on each race’s event page (here for Hungary) to make sure you don’t miss the 2027 on-sales for your favourite races!

5 – Consider testing – There is a lot to be said for attending the Pre-Season Formula 1 Testing. Tickets are just £24 per day – and you get to be the first to see the new cars hit the track! Due to the event’s lower attendance, testing days often avoid the price spikes you’d typically see for race weekend on flights and hotels, meaning you save on that cost too! While this year’s Bahrain testing is now complete, a pre-season trip here boasts winter sun, minimal crowds and a large proportion of what a Formula 1 race week can offer – sign up for 2027 ticket alerts here!

Now you know which are the cheapest F1 tickets currently on sale, as well as other factors to bear in mind, where will your next Formula 1 destination be?
