Many 2024 F1 tickets are already flying off the shelves for next season’s biggest races. With the rampaging Red Bulls wrapping up the 2023 season, smashing records as they go, it’s time to look ahead to the 2024 Formula 1 calendar.
Most of the F1 2024 calendar tickets are already on sale. Tickets usually go on sale between six to nine months before the race itself, but this is dependent on the local race organisers. Some events release the tickets for the following year right after the race, whilst others wait and announce tickets closer to the event.
If a race isn’t on sale yet, you can sign up to our mailing list for that race and be alerted when the tickets become available. Below we’ve listed all 24 races which will be held in the coming Formula 1 season.

F1 2024 Calendar Headlines
In order to maximise sustainability in the organisation of the 2024 calendar, Formula 1 have moved around several races to create a natural flow across the globe. Japan being moved forward to follow the Chinese Grand Prix, and Qatar just before Abu Dhabi are two main examples of this.
Year of the comeback for China
A Formula 1 Grand Prix has not been held in China since 2019. Ongoing problems with battling Covid in the country has caused the cancellation of the last four Chinese Grand Prix. But it looks as if 2024 will finally be the year of the return to Formula 1 for Shanghai.
Japan is being brought forward in the season from Round 18 to Round 4, just before China. This is to support regionalisation and minimise carbon emissions associated with travelling and putting on international sporting events.
A bumper 24-race season
The 75th Formula One World Championship promises to be the most intense yet as a record-breaking 24 F1 Grand Prix will be held. This will out extra strain on the drivers and teams, required even more stamina than ever before. Throw in Sprint races, injuries, weather and anything else than can happen on a Formula 1 race day, and a dramatic season is all but guaranteed.
Classic tracks, such as Imola and the Shanghai International Circuit return to the calendar after cancellations in previous years.
Two Saturday races kick the season off
Bahrain has firmly cemented its title as the Formula 1 season opener. This is the race where fans have eagerly seen in action the fruits of the winter break for the constructors. New cars and new driver line-ups take the the Sakhir International Circuit to set the pace for the season.
The race at the Sakhir International Circuit will be held on a Saturday night to observe the holy Muslim month of Ramadan. This will also be the case at the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix the week after.
This means that there will be three Saturday races in total in the 2024 season, with Las Vegas being the third.
It was in fact Sin City that bucked the trend of Sunday races for the first time since 1985 when they announced that the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix would take place on Saturday. There are still tickets available for the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix here!
Will it be another rampant Red Bull rout in 2024?
The majority of Formula 1 fans are praying that the Red Bulls will trip up in the latter part of this season or in 2024. Ferrari and McLaren have shown flashes of competition in the 2023 races, but Mercedes have fallen well short of what their fans have come to expect. Can Hamilton – who hasn’t won a Grand Prix since Saudi Arabia in 2021 – return to his former glory? Can George Russell live up to his reputation as a young talent and potential race winner?
Meanwhile, Max Verstappen is breaking Formula 1 records for fun, climbing ever higher on many lists of the the sport’s greatest ever drivers. While the Dutchman’s domination continues to inspire awe, the other constructors will already be planning on how to slash the gap between themselves and Christian Horner’s team in 2024.
