Why go to the 2024 United States Grand Prix?
There are three races being held Stateside in the 2024 F1 calendar, but nowhere does it quite like COTA.
The undulating Circuit of the Americas has been home of the US Grand Prix since 2012. It is one of the most recognisable tracks, featuring the Texas flag throughout the circuit as well as the steep climb straight of over 40 metres in elevation.
Alongside the celebrities in the paddock, the 2024 United States Grand Prix boasts a musical line-up composed of two world superstars, Eminem and Sting.
COTA is a favourite of three-time world champion Max Verstappen, who has won the last three races here. Lewis Hamilton holds the record for the most wins here with five. His other US Grand Prix win was back in 2007 in Indiana.
Lando Norris finished second in 2023, while Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz took third. Will it be a fourth consecutive win for Verstappen in 2024?
British Airways have direct flights to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport from Heathrow. There are also direct flights from Frankfurt and Amsterdam. The flight time from Europe is around 11 hours.
