As the sun goes down on Singapore, the lights will go on to illuminate Marina Bay - Formula 1 is back for race number 15 in the Garden City

There is no race like Singapore on the Formula 1 calendar. The heat, the speed, the shimmering city under the floodlights againsts the night sky. The Grand Prix at the Marina Bay Circuit really is a bucket list race.

Singapore was by far the most exciting race in 2023 so far. Currently it is the only one not to be won by a Red Bull driver, as Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz blistered to his first win since Silverstone last year – only his second ever.

An exceptional competition guaranteed on an unpredictable track, alongside the fact that this race usually sells out, means that tickets for the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix are already selling fast.

Why go to the 2024 Singapore F1 Grand Prix?

Anything can happen at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. The slightest of nicks on the final lap saw third place George Russell career onto the gravel, and out of the race this year. The Red Bulls were bizarrely nowhere to be seen as Carlos Sainz (1st), Lando Norris (2nd) and Lewis Hamilton (3rd) made the podium.

Looking ahead to 2024, Formula 1’s first ever night race looks certain to attract a sell-out number of fans once more.

Remaining the only race not won by a Red Bull this season, Singapore has provided an incredible five different race winners in six years.

If the Formula 1 wasn’t enough, the likes of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Killers, Kings of Leon, Liam Gallagher, Muse and Ariana Grande have all performed at the Singapore Grand Prix in recent years. The 2024 line-up hasn’t been announced yet, but it never disappoints!

Visit Singapore

The Southeast Asian city state of Singapore gained its independence from Britain in 1965. It has since become one of the world’s wealthiest and most advanced nations. It has a reputation for being a very safe place for tourists to visit, taking pride in being one of the cleanest cities in the world.

The archipelago is made up of 63 islands, and the natural beauty is famously built into the infrastructure of the metropolis.

Gardens by the Bay in Singapore

The Gardens by the Bay are ranked as the top attraction on Tripadvisor. They cover a vast 101 hectares of the city. Located in Marina Bay, the Gardens are just across from the circuit, around 17 minutes on foot!

Singapore is the ideal place for people who love cities but nature too. You can even do a kayaking tour of one of the richest habitat types in the world, the mangroves. These tropical swaps team with exotic life – and it’s all within the expanse of the city.

A nighttime bicycle tour is also a must during any stay in Singapore.
