Charles Leclerc started on pole in Vegas last year until he was forced off the track by Vertsappen who received a five-second penalty. In a chaotic start to the race, Fernando Alonso spun his Aston Martin but was able to continue.

Lando Norris also crashed resulting in the Brit’s first retirement of the season. In short, Vegas promises to be a dicey Saturday night, with plenty of drama on the cards.

British Airways and Virgin have direct flights to Las Vegas from London Heathrow. Other European cities flying direct to Vegas are Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Zurich. The flight time from Europe is around 11 hours.
