Where to stay at the Emilia Romagna F1 Grand Prix

Imola itself is a relatively small town to accommodate some many travelling fans. The small number of hotels are generally fully booked up immediately by F1 personnel and teams.

Therefore, most racegoers will opt to base themselves in Bologna. Regular trains leave Bologna Centrale for Imola and the journey takes between 20 and 400 minutes away by train. A similar distance away is Ravenna, but getting to the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is less straightforward by public transport – but still very doable.

Many fans will opt to camp at Imola to be close to the track, save money on accommodation and enjoy the nightlife and festival vibes over the Grand Prix weekend.
