Race profile

Set in the stunning Styrian countryside, The Red Bull Ring brings out the party atmosphere and is quickly becoming a fan favourite.

The track has had many incarnations at the top of motor sport, first opening in 1970 as Ӧsterreichring and was host to the Austrian Formula 1 Grand Prix for 18 consecutive years until 1987. The circuit was then rebuilt and opened again in 1997 when it was renamed the A1 Ring. The Austrian Grand Prix was held again at the circuit until 2003. Following further updates and extension, the circuit reopened again in 2011, having been renamed after it's new owner as Red Bull Ring.

It's long fast straights, and flowing complex of corners make this configuration of the famous track a modern classic.
