help centreRally Finland is a very popular event in Finland, it is also known as the “1000 lakes rally”.
It was first held in 1951 and today it takes place in Jyväskylä. In 2025, it will be the 74th appearance of Rally Finland on the WRC calendar.
The rally used to be an endurance event which stretched to Lapland in Northern Finland. The event became part of the European Rally Championship in 1959 before becoming part of the WRC in 1973.
Rally Finland is held on wide and smooth gravel roads and consists of many blind crests and jumps. As the roads are mostly surrounded by trees, it is necessary to drive a correct racing line and have perfect pacenotes. The Service Park is located in the area around the Jyväskylä Paviljonki Rally HQ.
For the drivers and co-drivers, it is the rally that will demand the highest concentration, courage and commitment.
