MotoGP will return to the historic Automotodrom Brno in 2025. The Czech Republic welcomes premier motorcycle racing back to its iconic venue after five years away.
WHY GO TO THE MOTOGP CZECH REPUBLIC GRAND PRIX?
The much-loved Brno Circuit, also known as The Masaryk circuit, is one of the most historic and cherished MotoGP circuits, boasting a motorcycle pedigree dating back to the 1930s.
Returning to the MotoGP calendar on a four-year contract until 2029, Brno is a real rider favourite. Its series of flowing corners and significant elevation changes make for a spectacular challenge.
Brno’s fabled tarmac has a propensity for generating firsts. 1996 saw Valentino Rossi take his very first Grand Prix victory – 114 more would follow. In 2020 KTM’s Brad Binder took his first victory in just his third MotoGP race, and in 2016 Cal Crutchlow achieved his first win, ending a massive 35-year wait for a British winner in the premier class.
Historically the race is held in the peak of Czech summer, with highs of 26° possible.
Nearby Brno – the Czech Republic's second largest city – lies a short 30-minute drive from the circuit and is renowned for its history, culture and nightlife. The Brno–Tuřany Airport has great transport links to the city centre, sits just 30 kilometres from the circuit and is connected with direct flights from multiple European airports.
