Misano makes a wonderful surprise second appearance in 2024

So good they race it twice? A late calendar adjustment means we’ll be visiting the fan favourite Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli twice in 2024!

WHY GO TO THE EMILIA-ROMAGNA MOTOGP IN 2024?

To quote the famous ‘Every Cloud has a Silver Lining’ saying, the cancellation of the 2024 Kazakhstan Grand Prix has thrown up a surprise second outing to the famous Misano circuit on 20-22 September for the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix.

This will now mean the MotoGP circus will return to the sun drenched Emilia-Romagna region just two weeks after Misano first holds the San Marino Grand Prix.

And for fans unable to make the San Marino outing, a second chance to witness MotoGP action at Misano in 2024 will bring widespread joy.

After its debut on the MotoGP calendar in 2007, the circuit has become a firm fan and rider favourite with its dramatically varied layout. Here riders tackle slower, technical turns; terrifying, near flat-out kinks and scorching top speeds of near 300 km/h.

The on-track action isn’t the only scorcher here either, with September day temperatures hitting an average high of 25°C fans will be grateful for a dip in the Mediterranean Sea which lies less than 5km from the circuit.
