WHY GO TO THE LE MANS 24HR
Fernando Alonso, Jacky Ickx, Graham Hill and Bruce McLaren are among some of the star drivers to have taken victory at the race. Ferrari have claimed the last three years since their return for the 100-year celebration in 2023. Can they make it an incredible four in a row in 2026?
Having taken place on the local roads in its infancy, a custom-built complex has since been built, with the endurance layout encompassing some of those public streets.
But Le Mans 24hr is so much more than just a race. Despite an entire day of racing, and practice sessions throughout the week, there’s so much more to entertain fans at Le Mans. Before the race, the town of Le Mans hosts parades where you can get up close to your favourite drivers and some historic machines. At the track, the likes of Pete Doherty, Razorlight and Bob Sinclair have entertained fans with concerts for ticket holders. The festival atmosphere doesn't stop there, with funfairs, world food trucks and a fanzone packed with shops, simulators and much more.
