MotoGP expands its horizons in breath-taking Thailand

First introduced to MotoGP in 2018, Thailand has welcomed motorcycle racing with open arms. Hosted at the Buriram International Circuit, where 100,000 fans can enjoy the action, the race has thrown up nail-biting final lap battles in its previous two editions.

In 2019, Fabio Quartararo hunted down champion Marc Marquez looking to steal a win in his maiden season. Marquez held on by a whisker, and in doing so, wrapped up his eighth title. If the premier class action isn’t enough, the Moto2 and Moto3 series will be reaching their own dramatic conclusions.

But the action on track is matched by this race’s glorious surroundings. A short drive from Bangkok, Buriram has a distinctive local culture to be enjoyed. Further afield in Thailand, the capital Bangkok is a city that caters to all tastes, while rural Thailand provides a peaceful, tranquil respite from the busy MotoGP circuit.
